I have permanent flaky brown dandruff and hair breakage everywhere. My hair is thin. Is there anything I can do if shampoos like Nizoral aren't doing much but further thinning my hair?
I wonder if something like galeoromies would work to prevent hair loss early on. The cranium and splanchocranium (facial bone complex) seems to spread hairline from face. The scalp can't keep up with the growing make skull (especially at the corners of the hairline.)If you are valding via Norwood pattern, then it's likely structural, if your diffusely balding on the back (vertex) is more biochemical.
>>77099205My temples look awful from the side, but my hairline is fine from the front. Anyone else like this?
>>77099217Front view.
>>77099217Your hair health looks fine but as you can see from the temples you can see that the hairs are spread out over a larger surface area. Think of yourself as having the same scale coverage as when you were pubescent. The make skull contains 15%+ larger brain size than women after puberty so it tries to cover it. Most tension is at the front and the thin sides show exactly that. It's structural. Your hair looks healthy but you don't like the bald spots. Increasing scalp elasticity by loosening connective tissue might help or you can take some jew drugs like fin or min (might help bring "baby hairs" in the existing Norwood pattern.)
>>77099330I've always had this thing. Pic related is from 2012-ish.
>>77099341The hair restoration discourse seldom talks about skull shap but you can see that there are tension spots "pulling" at the corner/temple. Facial and frontal bone down growth brings down some of the forehead with it, suffocating temple hair while spreading it until it miniaturized (further vulnerability to DHT?)Looking at your rear head shape you have a slight boxy shape. The least tension would be help at the back of the head (where it feels rhomboidal in shape.) By nature of the boxy head it's going to take much of the surface area of your scalp. It represents your basal position of your skull (since prepubescence) the face actually migrates away from the scalp. You can even see that the face follows the downward slope. Women's smaller brain limits their skull growth which helps reduce outgrowing their own scalps. Your hair density looks pretty good (likely nutritionally sufficient) but it's the shape of the pattern that you don't like. A hair transplant can help the front but sides and corners can be finicky (I've had some transplants there.) there are still different methods to try, like tension release in the back. I've been looking at scalp massage services but their pricey, if you can get a friend or family member or (a gf?) to help loosen the scalp with vigorous or even "crunchy" scrunching you might get a couple or even a few mm. If you habitually have a tight forehead (squinting habit?) you can try Botox as a relaxer. I haven't tried the last two option though so idk, I've only had fin/min and transplants. It's a shame we have space rockets and yet we're still stuck with this stone age bullshit.
>>77099368Yeah, no. I'm not getting a hair transplant for a hairline I've had for the last 15 years.
>>77099381What are you looking to fix, shinier hair?
>start fin+min after puberty and before any signs of balding, early signs at the latest>stay on it until death>microneedle if you really feel like it, won't do much but knock yourself off>get a transplant if the hairline creeps too far back>eat well, sleep well, don't suffer from any nutritional deficencies, don't be on drugsThere's nothing more to be said. Inb4 the bitchtits fatty schizo comes in to ramble about singlet oxygen and other irrelevant small scale studies he dedicated all his free time to misinterpreting.
>>77099414There is still more to be said, the miracle drug that will come in two more weeks.
>>77099208mct moisturiser maybe, also try washing hair once a week if you are doing it super frequently
>>77099409I just need to know if I should be worried about going bald.
>>77099431Hairline looks like it's holding strong but the triangle that are your sides will definitely blunt in the next 10 years. Top of your head is doing the heavy work and it's not too far from your eyebrows. Low risk for 5head.
>>77099442Eh. The top's what I need anyway. I'll rely on fin if I have to.
>>77099424I’m going to be honest, if PP405 comes out and it doesn’t work after I try it myself, I’m just going to shave my shit off. I have no libido and a floppy dick on fin, it’s not worth it for me.Thinking about splicing my dna with a mouse so I can grow my hair back.
>>77099504Be careful coming out of fin. Look up moral medicine YouTube channel and the post finasteride sindrome sub reddit for anecdotes. It seems people get worse after coming out, maybe its best to taper off slowly, I don't know.
just started topical fin+min, should i get a dermaroller? are they worth it?
>>77099592>Look up moral medicine YouTube channel>look it up>it's not a medicine channel, no MDs involved>first video is some dude who is clearly on roids suffering from self-reported psychological issues>must be the fin, better keep taking roids tholol
>>77099592Getting off fin wasnt so bad, it getting on it that's the problem. I've been on and of a few times and I've narrowed it down to when I jump on fin, like holy shit, it can be a major depressant if you're a poor responder. Why tf do I have to be the 1% it happens to? It didn't even regrow or half recession of my native hair (luckily I had a preemptive hair transplant(s).)It must've nuked my neurosteroids but I at least rebounded each time. It's not for me.>>77099644Dermastamp might be better but don't press down to far, drawing blood isn't necessary. I've heard that 0.6 might be enough for thin skin. Consider the rumor that it might affect the pili muscle (no pili, no hair.)If you over do it, you might create fibrosis. The convention is that it's more of a vehicle for those topicals rather than trying to influence vascularity.
I've had horrible dandruff since puberty. Lately I've been using tea tree oil shampoo, descaling in the shower with a comb, and then apply a small amount of castor oil on my scalp. Results have been amazing, true relief. Also I take NAC every day to reduce inflammation. My scalp hasnt been this clean in over a decade and no more itching.
>>77099205Don't be a pussy, just get it over with and shave it off.
>>77099669You look like a cancer patient and your "advice" is terrible.
>>77099205Just don't be genetically defective. Balding problem solved
>>77099669>don't be a pussy, just do [insert a reversible, low stakes, zero effort, free non-solution]>I'm not gonna try fin though, they have a 1% risk of side effect and that's scarylmao
>>77099217similar for me. from the front it looks fine, from the side it looks disastrous
>>77099702t. 20-something retard
>>77099712There's a pretty easy solution to this problem - just fringe fraud. Honestly, I don't care anymore. Tons of women have worse hairlines and nobody seems to give a shit.
my hair was very fluffy and more blonde when I didnt use shampoo for 6 months. Dandruff didnt go away at all
>>77099504PP405 will be a ame duck, GT0029 will be the first significant progress since finasteride/dutasteride

>>77099762>>77099824Yeah just smell bad with oily hair like a retard. Don't brush your teeth with toothpaste while you're at it, it's not like you're gonna kiss anyone anyway.
>>77099217whenever someone gets the "V" shape near their forehead like that, its time to hop on fin
>>77100240Bullshit. I had the "V" since I was 17. I'm 40 years old now and my hairline hasn't moved an inch.

>>77099205The only upcoming treatment I'm looking forward to is VDPHL01 and even that needs to be combined with a 5ar inhibitor and it can't reverse the destruction of the arrector pili muscle so pretty much pointless for dead zones.
>>77099414>microneedle if you really feel like it, won't do much but knock yourself offTretinoin is much better and safer.
>>77099504Just use a lower dose of fin or lower the frequency. I tolerate 1mg fin very very well but can't tolerate even the lowest dose of dut, for example.PP405 sounds like scam because what kind of metric is 20% improvement in 31% of patients? Just give haircounts like VDPHL01 and GT20029 do.
>>77099656>It must've nuked my neurosteroids but I at least rebounded each time.Finasteride doesn't even affect your neurosteroids to begin with unless you're a rat. Human 5ar type 1 enzymes are barely even affected by fin and even when fin binds it reversibly does so.

>>77100477THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME AND I BET IT WILL WORK FOR YOU TOO: GET C8 AND C10 ONLT MCT OIL (SO XCT OIL REALLY). NO C12 (LAURIC ACID), ONLT C8 AND C10!!! APLY THIS OIL ON YOUR SEBDERM PROBLEM AREAS BEFORE SHOWERING. MOST OF THE OIL WILL BE WASHED OF AND THAT'S OK, THE SMALL (ALMOST IMPERCEPTIBLE) AMOUNT OF OIL COMPLETELY GETS RID OF SEBDERM. DO THIS EVERYTIME YOU SHOWER. IN 2 TO 4 WEEKS YOUR SEBDERM WILL BE GONE. IF YOUR SEBDERM IS TOO STRONG YOU MAY NEED TO APLY THE OIL AFTER SHOWERING INSTEAD OF BEFORE SHOWERING. ONCE YOUR SEBDERM IS GONE, YOU MAY USE THE OIL ONLY ONCE A WEEK OR EVERY 2 WEEKS FOR MANTEINANCE.

>>77100542Just one more natural ingredient bro. Just one more pathway detected in some Iranian lab bro.>>77100552>clearly didn't use any ULTRA-PROCESSED plant extracts selected with reverse network pharmacologyWhat matters is not whether something is processed, natural or whatever. What matters is that it works. Not in mice, not in cells, not in apes but in adult human males. If you go back 50 years ago, we've discovered tens of thousends of chemicals that can grow hair in lab mice. Out of those, only 5ar inhibitors, potassium channel openers and cyclosporine actually grow enough hair to be statistically significant, yet alone cosmetically significant.
>>77100576>Out of those, only 5ar inhibitors, potassium channel openers and cyclosporine actually grow enough hair to be statistically significant, yet alone cosmetically significant.Easily dozens of other chemicals with different mechanisms have had human trials with statistical significance by now, you just haven't researched very deeply on trichology. How about JAK inhibitors for alopecia areata as an easy FDA-approved example? It's especially laughable when it produces some hyperinflation of trivial things like "BAREFOOT WALKING CURES CANCER! Sorry it's a little off-topic, but does anyone have advice for growing body (specifically forearm and chest) hair?My body hair is unironically closer to left than it is to right and I'm 31. My forearm hair is girlishly thin and my chest hair is what you'd expect on a guy who's 20, not 30. I'm taking basic steps to support T levels (lifting, sleeping more, eating better) but it doesn't seem to make much difference.
>>77099368i cannot for the life of me find the article or the study paper but there’s a hair transplant guy that actually regained a lot of hair density and hairline by botoxing certain areas in his scalp. your tension ‘theory’ i guess is very much spot on i wanted to say. i fully believe it, just look at a mans skull and then look up a graphic where they show a male skull with muscle and tendons. the muscle and tendons are exactly where the norwood pattern is - tendons dont exactly get a lot of blood in the first place. massages arent known for being great but i do fully believe getting more bloodflow to the head muscles and tendons and skin is key to retaining or even regrowing hair.
