How do I get the willpower to force myself to go to the gym in the morning before school when I’m like, super cozy?
>>

when I was in school we called gym-goers faggots
>>
>>77099726
They still are
>>
It only gets harder with age so you'd better learn it now.
>>
Sleep earlier. I got up yesterday and did my run at 6am. I slept for 2h in the afternoon then, but still

Don't.

No one gives a shit about you and never will.

Stop being gay

D:
That's patently false. I love all my /fit/friends except for the kekke spammer, psoas-schizo, mixedchad, all of the posters in /fraud/, etc.

How big was your potbelly then compared to now?

You didn't get the point at all. If you don't force yourself to do things, no one else will do it for you. And no one cares, everyone is stuck in their own asses.

You're not a baby, drink coffee/take pre-workout and fuck off to the gym. That's it, there is no other solution.

Willpower is desire.

For you to have the willpower to do something you must desire that thing more than the alternative. You need to have a clear vision of what you are trying to achieve. You need to see your goal. The only way to overcome the desire to do other things like sleeping by increasing your desire for your goal.

You can think about the hardships requires and the cost of achieving your goal when you are deciding if you will do it, but once you decide on your goal you must only think of the benefits of you goal and the cost of failing.

Willpower is the ability to keep a distant goal fixed in your mind as if it is already there.

One potential issue you might have with getting out of bed is that you are so groggy that you don't even get the opportunity to truly make the decision to get out of bed. You might go back to sleep without thinking because of habit.

A solution to this, that is weird but works, is to practice getting out of bed. This way you can build the habit of responding to your alarm properly without having to depend on your sleep-drunk self to make this decision.

Here are some links to help you.

Why would you do that? You're weakest right after waking up
Even late-night lifting is a better idea
>>
>>77099714
Assuming you get enough sleep in the first place, consider getting a daylight alarm clock. It made a massive difference in getting me up at 5:00am to get to the gym before work.

Anteaters are so fucking based. They can fuck up anything that lives around them, but all they do is eat ants.

You kind of broke my mind. This is basically the Arnold goal blueprint explained better than he has ever explained.
Please expand, not because your thought is not complete but I want more of your perspective on willpower and accomplishing goals.

>how-to-get-up-right-away-when-your-alarm-goes-off
So willpower is conditioning yourself to triggers? In your post alone you gave two different definitions of willpower. First as desire then as ability. I don't think that you know what you're talking about

>>77099973
i like every anon here except the fat ones, gay ones and the avatarfags
>>
>>77099714
Literally just do it.
>>
>>77099714
realize it will buy you a calm evening so you won't sit stressed at school knowing you still have lifting to do, you can do other stuff or just have more continuous mentally relaxing time at home or whatever
>>
>>77102679
Valid advice. But wait when you find out that majority of people actually like to torture themselves with keeping their chores at bay for entire day.
>>
>>77099714
just know that I did
>>77099726
you are a faggot.
