I have been doing 12-3-30 incline walking every day at around 6:00 a.m., but I lift in the evening. Am I disrupting muscle recovery and growth at all by doing this?I am skinnyfat (6'3", 175 lbs) and am trying to stay lean or get leaner while building as much mass as possible. I get 200g of protein daily and hit (most of) my macros.
>>7710122212-3-30? if thats what i think it means you are retarded for walking that fast just walk at a comfortable pace and stop when you are bored i mean your heart rate shouldnt even get into zone 2 this is how you know for certain you aren't taxing your cns
>>77101222i will tell u a secret ***s don't want u to know ok? flat treadmill IS INCLINE cause your foot sinks into the damned thing as you step and incline is by definition in bad posture, wrong muscles are used, wrong breathing employed to make matters worse it's devoid of crucial component of what makes walking so precious and special - walking allows you to propel yourself forward like human body is intended to be used in upright posture - this thing does neither, no upright posture and no load "pulling you backwards" as "ground" moves beneath you - and that's just flat it took me few years to stand up straight and walk properly, but it's definitely worth it with proper walking u will use glute max and calf, they won't be touched though in bad posture
>>771012733 is a pretty comfortable pace
>>77101222Unless your treadmill only goes up to 12 don't be a bitch. Max out the incline
>>77101273If I do any slower than 3 MPH something is wrong, like I didn’t sleep properly
>>77101222It's probably fine, I'm not sure i understand your description but IF i get it right I do:>18% incline>4.5speed>30minAnd it's fine, my lifts are progressing normally, feeling much better when i do it vs when I don't as well. I can also confirm it does not mess up knees/posture as I have a injured knee to the point where I can walk but can't run and this has actually been helping tremendously to speed up recovery.
>>77101222>Am I disrupting muscle recovery and growth at all by doing this? No. Basically, if your cardio is easy in zone 1/2 you don't need to worry about affecting your muscle gainz even if you do it before or after. Even the science based lifter grifters agree on that. For harder cardio most say keep the workouts 4-6+ hours apart.
>>77101222Idk wtf is 12-3-30 but if you're doing zone 2 then you are not disrupting anything, anything more intensive is disrupting.
