I've been suffering from MDD with psychotic features for most of my life and I abused food as my coping mechanism. I've tried to diet many times over the years and I relapse every time. The best I've done on my own is to lose 50 lbs and then gain it all back after relapsing. I've seen the writing on the wall with my recent labs and my doctor has already started to have the "look into bariatric surgery" talk with me. I really don't want to do that because bariatric surgery contributed to my grandmother's death. So I want to give GLP a try before I throw in the towel and get the surgery. I have acquired a Wegovy prescription, but given my mental illness and past failures, I'm unsure if this will be enough. I've looked into Retatrutide, which I think would be perfect for a dumbass like me, but there are no clinical trials in my area. I've looked into the chinese imports and resellers but it all just seems very sketchy and you can't be certain that you're actually getting what was advertised to you. I don't know how I feel about the whole reconstitution and "being your own chemist" stuff given I probably have an IQ of around 80, I would almost certainly fuck something up.
