What is the squat of abs? Is it the sit-up? Every time I do sit-ups I get cramps.
>>77102734Upside down reverse squats where you sit-up at the same time
>>77102747360 no squat
>>77102734Cable crunches or crunches at a decent machine
Seriously though, sit-up upside down if you want results from lower rep ab training. Exhale as you go up.Example torso training routine:• upside down sit-ups. Eventually add weight (carefully) by holding a dumbbell• overhead press for serratus anterior• farmer's carry with one arm
>>77102762• dumbbell pullovers
>>77102761I'm just going to follow along to random YouTube ab workouts until I memorize a routine.... I guess cable crunches or an ab machine would be best. I guess there's no workaround to getting a stronger core except exercising your core, who would thunk. Core is sort of useless because you don't even lift things with your core... and it doesn't make you run faster or anything..... But I neglect it so I'm gunna go after it. And do some back stuff too. Working up to pull-ups again. Thanks for reading my blog.
>>77102762>>77102764I have some weights so yeah that'll probably be good in the future but my abs are really weak. I guess I will work my way up to a real machine.
>>77102734Hanging leg raises
>>77102734>get crampsAfter or during?I start feeling a tingle around my 20th rep but I just ignore it and push through to 60 reps and do four sets of that. When I first felt it, I thought I was cooked and near my limit but that wasn't the case at all.
>>77102734>Every time I do sit-ups I get crampsI had the same problem. Even thought I had a fucking hernia. Nope, the problem was I wasn't tensing my abs correction.
>>77102734It's called the squats.
>>77102768Core indirectly affects a ton of things and how you move and function, it could very well indirectly improve some of your other lifts
