anyone try to reduce protein intake? i like eggs, cottage cheese, quark & other cheeses and easily get 180g a day, but i think it worsens my GI problems.

I have to increase it and don't know how and why. Have Hashimoto's, so no dairy, onions or sea fish. Which leaves meat, which is fuckign expensive in Germany now. Unless you go to the lowest quality available, which is making me shit literal blood (after I caught a really bad stomach bug on a London vacation years ago, my guts were never really the same again).

I weigh 80-85 kg (depending on how much bloat I have, Hashimoto's be like that), that's what 180-190? At 6'1 and I get maybe 50-70g of protein a day. I dieted myself into a corner with this whole thyroid bullshit, but I was almost 140 kg some years ago, so it DID work kinda. Now my digestion is so weak I immediately bloat up if I eat more, but I start getting into trouble with the low calories and low protein. Or maybe I should just stop doing sports at all.
