I'm getting close to outgrowing my gym's fixed weight barbells, how should I progress? Switch to dumbbell curls or start using a regular barbell?

>>77104553It works differently, you can still do slow negatives with dumbells but the weight and distribution all vary. Point being I'm just doing a mix of everything to get the most range for the muscle so as not to fatigue or just get tired of the exercise.
>>77104563Gravity works the same for everything anon. Cables are easier, all you have to do is hold on. Dumbbells require you to stabalize the weight which engages more fine motor muscles.
