>proteeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiinnnnnn
Just have a shake. (You) don't need 200 grams a day. Most people on here barely need 100. No it's not a gram per pound of bodyweight that you need.

Absolutely wrong.
Protein consumption even needs to accelerate as you age because you don't process it as well.

>wrong
Tell me how many grams of protein one needs to eat on a daily basis.
>you need more as you age
Cool. You still don't need 200 grams unless you're 250 pounds of muscle and looking to maintain every pound.

What do you need snacks for? Just eat your meals like an adult.
If you really want something good, get Biltong, it's just dried meat that comes from the Boers in South Africa. It's some of the best food you can have, very rich in iron and high protein and is made from a variety of meats. It also isn't soaked in preservatives and sweeteners like beef jerky is, and is usually had plain or flavoured with chutney, chilli and garlic.

Goddamn I miss biltong.
There was south african import store in my town that made their own biltong and I would eat the entire bag whenever I got my hands on it.
Now's it's gone :(

How about should? Hunter gatherers diets were 19–35% protein by energy. Assuming 2500 kcal per day, that's 119-219 grams of protein. Can you provide compelling arguments as to why one shouldn't eat like homo sapiens did for the last 300k years or so?

Bit off topic but anyone drink yakult shots in the morning? All the protein makes shitting a nightmare for me sometimes and these things do seem to help. Not aware of the science behind it.

Even more baseless statement, humans are hypercanivores

Because (You) have an office job, can't do a pullup, and don't even lift. Therefore (You) truly do not NEED 200 grams of protein.

I make my own kefir daily for the same reason, it helps a ton. DIY probiotics are way more potent than store bought (and cheaper) if you can keep up with it.

Much like everyone else posting ITT this thread, my favorite protein snack is male semen.

If you can't process it as well, then you need less, not more.
