Most pre-2000s metal and proto-metal. Hard rock. Otherwise, I like silence and the ambient noise of the gym.

Slavic folk rock/metal recently

nick carries it desu
with the exception of his occasional rogan-esque 30 min retarded tangents about nothing
but I'm usually too beat from lifting to care, it's good background noise
>>
I have a playlist with Pantera, Kublai Khan and Ultrakill OST mixed together, with other breakcore/metal in between. Pantera specially helps setting the mood, for me Vulgar Display of Power and The Great Southern Trendkill are pure caffeine. Other times though I listen to my usual prog/jazz fusion stuff. Oddly enough, calm music sometimes helps me focus on my form better... idk

>play Doom 2016
>realize that I love the heavy drums and guitar riffs of metal music
>can't get on board with growling, would much rather just listen to instrumentals

I now have a custom playlist i assembled on youtube full of death metal instrumentals that i listen to whenever i am lifting heavy

I start with soft meditative music then I blast metal as I get closer to failure to enter that berserker mode.
>>
>>77106970
Hardcore or metalcore even if I hate what the Punk scene is about. I also like death metal but there isn't a whole lot of new stuff that I like. Also, 22 years ago I got expelled from school for drawing the Butchered At Birth album cover and my retarded teacher thought I was drawing a violent phantasy about her. Lost all my class mates and it took years until my education was back on track.

Audiobooks, or books I converted with audiblez. The concept of requiring motivation is mind poison.

Listened to Cannibal Corpse today as well, actually. Lower is the heavier, the crunchier the better. Upper stuff usually power metal like Twilight Force, Rhapsody Of Fire, Domine, Gloryhammer etc
