Hello fit I don’t usually post here and apologies if this is the wrong board but I need medical advice I am too ashamed to go the doctors about:>be me>addicted to opiates>dont usually eat more than a handful of chips and maybe some ramen everyday>can’t get anything for a few hours so start to go into withdrawal>eat 2 and a half family size bags of cheetos to distract myself>eventually score>fast forward>haven’t taken a shit in 5 days due to opiate constipation>sit on toilet for 30 minutes>push out pringles can sized rock hard turd followed by half a pint of reddish black gooNow ever since this monster turd I am constantly leaking clearish yellow coloured sticky and watery mucous with reddish black blobs in it non stop and occasionally fart out huge amounts of it, does anyone know a way how to stop this? I dont want to go to the doctors and have them examine my arseholeThanks

Medical student here anon. Please go to the doctors' - black runny stool (melena) suggests upper GI bleeding, which is a medical emergency. In layman's terms, you may be bleeding inside.I've struggled with addiction to alcohol and benzos in the past and been ashamed to speak about it to anyone. However, any decent doctor won't care that you're an addict - their main focus will be on solving your acute problem.
The biggest challenge u will face is intense painful withdrawals. Hospitals beds are incredibly painful and ivs give you hypothermia so you anxiety and addiction will be playing dread alarms the entire time you are in there. The alternative is death

Should help you quit. Withdraw wasn't so bad for me after 3ish years of daily kratom use, getting to over 20gs a night, but if you're on harder stuff, it may be much worse. Schools should use constipation as the main fear of heroin or opiates in general. I don't have problems with other vices but the stories junkies tell me about basically shitting bricks is enough to keep me away from them.
