So is this a meme or legit good for you and if so how do I incorporate it into my diet
>>
>>77141150
Just have one or two squares after dinner or whenever you want it.
>>
>>77141150
>how do I incorporate it into my diet
Try eating it.
>>
ive been eating 20 grams a day of 90% dark chocolate, just by itself in the morning. do some research on good brands because its very high in heavy metals

It is not a meme HOWEVERBEIT you should be eating 100%
>>
>>77141150
Just 1-2 small squares of 90% dark chocolate kills sweets cravings for me and I don't crave the chocolate itself because it tastes awful.
>>
>>77141150
This is cooking chocolate, Nigga. Every pastry chef worth his weight in Dubai Chocolate (PBUH) knows you buy real Dark chocolate if you want your Pan with Choc to be anything but Pan with shit. This is Lindt however, so it might be ok.
>>
>>77141150
I mean it's alright like... it has pretty good micros and some antioxidants. You can just buy cocoa powder and put it into your shakes or whatever to get the full benefits while avoiding added sugar.

70% is still pussy territory. 90% is for real men
>>
>>77141150
70% cocoa content is not enough but at least you can get used to dark chocolate that way. Eat one or two squares when you get cravings and that's it.

>>77141478
>I don't crave the chocolate itself because it tastes awful
Always funny to see people not having a single clue about quality chocolate. I will say I have felt like an elitist douche ever since I have started eating 90-100% chocolate but after having been to a chocolate museum that legit shows every step of the way, I feel like I look down on milk chocolate fans even more than before.

Find a good brand, preferably fair trade, that uses good methods and takes its time to make good chocolate (not even kidding, the stirring time actually makes a difference in quality), and you're set with something that can legit be healthy for you if you consume it in moderation
>>
>>77142644
What brands do you eat? I never tried any fancy stuff because the price is ridiculous.
>>
>>77142665
If you want to go as cheap as possible, try the Aldi home brand. They actually use better ingredients since home brands are subject to way (way) higher qualitative standards than known brands.

As for more expensive brands, Fairafric, Original Beans, Cachet, ChocQlate are good options since those companies also try to act sustainably. Not saying any brand is perfect but those are definitely way better than Lindt, Milka, and any piece of shit Nestlé produce.

By the way, don't get confused by some chocolate tasting "off", most high quality chocolate tastes way different from the usual due to less sugar and better processes being used
>>
>>77142702
Cool I'll try some of these

>cooking chocolate
usually worse for eating directly
in terms of taste at least

also just get pic related
tastes much better
and no sugar

>meme or legit good for you
legit good
plenty of (observational & correlation) evidence
typically somewhere in the 5-20g per day range seems good

>how do I incorporate it into my diet
just eat a small piece as dessert or as snack
but again, take a (added) sugar free variant with 100% cocoa

or you can mix pure cocoa powder into your oatmeal
>>
>>77142702
>most high quality chocolate tastes way different from the usual due to less sugar and better processes being used
it's actually the fermentation process

there are big difference between which bacteria and archaea are involved
only one variety leads to the "premium" chocolate taste

there's research on how to facilitate this
mostly with precision fermentation and not how it's traditionally done
but none is mainstream yet

>Lindt, Milka, and any piece of shit Nestlé produce.
Lindt grouped together with Mondelez (Milka) and Nestle is kinda insulting kek
lindt isn't the best of the best, but it's a decent baseline and very consistent
>>
>>77142143
That's not what the percentage is on dark chocolate bars means, just for your information. So your post looks ridiculous.
>>
>>77142708
>also just get pic related
>tastes much better
As someone who tried the first 100% chocolate from Lindt, I have to say there are better brands

>>77142722
>it's actually the fermentation process
True, that's one part of it. I remember a longer conching process also being essential. Good companies take around 65-72 hours while companies like Nestle take way less time for it (sometimes less than 2 days)

>Lindt grouped together with Mondelez (Milka) and Nestle is kinda insulting kek
True that, went a little overboard there lol
As far as quality goes, Lindt is in fact miles ahead of Mondelez and especially Nestle. Fucking pisses me off everytime I grab something on the quick as a birthday gift and realise it was made by Nestle
>>
>>77141150

>>
>>77141522
Lindt is full of sneed oils unfortunately
>>
>>77142795
>Lindt is full of sneed oils
technically you're right
every chocolate is
because cocoa is made from the SEED of the theobroma cacao tree

but you're also a massive retard

you can easily look up the ingredients
most Lindt chocolates only have
>Cocoa Solids
>Cocoa Butter
>Sugar
>Vanilla
as ingredients
the milk varieties have milk (components) and butter added, sometimes there are other aromas
and their Lindor stuff has coconut and palm fat added I think

epicatechin which is found in cocoa seems INSANELY good from some preliminary studies but of course it wasn't "properly" studied so it's possible you just develop tolerance for it on something
but the insane myostatin inhibiting effects would be a game changer if they're real and lasting
the issue is you'd have to eat 100-200g of dark chocolate to get enough to replicate the amount they used in the study
I'm thinking of getting it in a supplement form, but it's not really widely available here yet and bit pricier than I like to spend fucking around with various supplements
>>
I want to make chocolate syrup from cocoa powder. its water, sugar, and cocoa powder set to boil. bam, instant chocolate milk and can throw some powder in it

it's mostly a meme just like "a glass of wine a day is actually good for you totally for real no bamboozle" as a way to justify shit behavior
ultra dark chocolate in small amounts has decent nutrition and is a good little energy snack but people aren't buying actual dark chocolate when they say they're eating chocolate
there's 3 I like but they're obnoxious to get in stores in America
>Taza Mexicana 70% Cacao Puro
>Taza Mexicana 85% Pure Dark
>Scho-Ka-Kola dark
Taza has actual texture and legitimately feels like food. Taza 70% can sometimes be found at Whole Foods or a Mexican grocery store but a lot of times those places only stock the gimmick flavored versions like Almond or Cinnamon. The pepper-infused one is good though
Scho-Ka-Kola is basically impossible to find without going online

>redditnigger #1294 requesting citation for statement of basic truth
anybody with half a brain realizes the harm in something that rapes your mineral absorption, alongside the fact that nothing about dark chocolate is dietarily significant.
Anyways the average fat retard that overconsumes oxalates will likely have a whole host of issues related to poor mineral levels. I don't know if there are any papers on this because I spend my free time doing productive things, unlike you browsing PubMed/Kike israetel videos so you can update your peer reviewed Cronometer diet.
Dark chocolate is definitely not the biggest source of oxalates though, so you could make room for it in the diet if nothing else is high oxalate. I just see no reason to do so. you probably bought into the 'sweet treat/moderation is key' psyops that most fat retards fall for.
>>
>>77146253

absolute retarded schizo take

oxalate is are easily bound by calcium or magnesium
which most people eat more than enough of
if you have hard water, you can literally just drink a 250ml cup of water after 100g of raw spinach (one of the highest oxalate foods) and fucking nothing will happen

you'll only ever have problem with Oxalate if you supplement Vitamin C in gargantuan doses (which you body decomposes to Oxalate)
or you eat nothing but the nutritionally equivalent to a drywall, like worthless goyslop

oxalate in normal meals is a complete nothingburger
>>
>>77146213

>easily bound by calcium or magnesium
thats the entire point retard. You want your body to actually be able to utilize the minerals you consume instead of wasting them binding to antinutrients in your gut.
>which most people eat more than enough of
this is just completely untrue, most people eat way too much sodium and too little other minerals. They also consume shitloads of caffeine and/or nicotine flushing the little minerals they do get out through urine.
Also fruits and vegetables are way lower in minerals now than they were 50 years ago. In conclusion, enjoy your kidney stones and poor performance in all aspects of life

It's healthy if you have high blood pressure (like me). As one guy mentioned earlier, there was a study that showed this shit tends to have lead in it. I can't imagine it's any worse than the mercury found in tuna. The good probably outweighs the bad and the bad is mostly negligible.

I eat 2 squares (20g) a day with my lunch.
>>
>>77141522

Lindt is one of the worst fucking brands you stupid bitch, it's all shiny packaging.

Ah yes, I love pure bitterness in my mouth. I'm such a chocolate purist guy, yeah I'm the real deal. By the way I also drink my coffee dark too, anything else is for, um, do I have to say it, PUSSIES. Yeah if you don't hate yourself that much you're basically um GAY. I bet you guys don't even gulp down a tablespoon of pure cacao powder every morning. Bitches.

This is the one I get it is basically half of what Lindt costs

Memeish. Ideally you want non-alkalized/non-dutched cocoa powder no sugar obv. It has like 50k ORAC value vs just 1500 in green tea leaves or 5-10k blueberries. Non-alkalized cocoa has less of a "chocolate" flavor and I add it to savory dishes like chili, works great.

>how do I incorporate it into my diet

I freeze the entire bar, crack each square off into a freezer bag, then crack each square into quarters.
Plain Greek yogurt [I like Fage 0%] with a different fresh fruit every night, sprinkle roughly 6 chunks of the mess you made in the bag over.
