Every time I lift too much I fall into an existential crisis where I ask myself why I even live or remain alive. I lose all motivation and faith on everything, everyone, and even myself. Lifting dumbbells make me question the very nature of the reason as to why people do what they do and why I do what I do. Instead of lifting even more, I stop lifting after this happens, and it happens often.
>>77143459>Lifting dumbbells makeRetard.
ok
>>77143459I get this but in mid-set
drink water buddeh
>>77143459yeah thats how miserable lifting weights is desu
>>77143459Have you experienced anything traumatic recently?
>>77143459Ok? This is the weightlifting board, not the meaning-of-life board.
>>77143459I have those questions every day of my life. I’m never going to have a wife, children, good career or anything that makes life worthwhile. I’ve already wasted three and a half decades of my life and lost the most important years of my life with nothing to show for them. What’s even the point.
>>77145564Just enjoy the hedonism lil broWhats the point of feeling bad about things when you can just feel good about things instead
>>77143459The gym actually makes me feel that wya sometimes too it's weird. Like I need to be careful not to fall into an ansghty existential episode after lifting
>>77143459I have the opposite problem where I feel like life is meaningless, wondering why I bother doing anything EXCEPT when I'm lifting (or one of my other special interest hobbies). Life just seems relentless when I'm not having fun and ignoring everything else
>op posts engaging question>doesn't engage in threadGo suck a massive one
>>77143459Since no one is giving you a respectful response I'm going to take the time out of my lift to say two things:1 - if you are vitamin d deficient you **will** be depressed. No way around it. Expecting to feel good without vitamin d is like expecting a phone to charge without plugging it in. Take 20,000iu vitamin d, 200mcg k2, daily allowance of magnesium every day. This is the only supplement complex you actually need. Need is the key word. 2 - if you're lifting too much for your nervous system to recover from you will feel like shit and stall. Silver age bodybuilders (before roids existed) would take 3 months a year off lifting entirely. It can literally make you stronger to just take a week or two off when you feel like shit for multiple lifts in a row. If you take action on these two things you will 100% feel better. Dont waste my time by not doing them. Take care of yourself my man, you're important
>>77143459YOU IDIOT YOU FUCKING RETARD. YOU HAVE TO LOVE THE PROCESS. YOU WANT A WHY? MAKE IT. YOU NEED POWER. POWER TO PROTECT POWER TO CONQURE POWER TO CREATE. IF YOU ARE WEAK YOU ARE GOOD AS DEAD
