I've tried both animal based and plan based protein sources.
I was eating around 150g a day but when I cut my protein down to around 40g a day my brain fog goes away, I have more energy, I sleep better and for less time (was sleeping around 10 hours a day before), I have much better digestion and poos.

I'm just going to focus on getting lean and maintaining whatever muscle I have and hope I'm happy with my body when I get there, eating a lot of protein is ruining my life.

yeah yeah - just about right is halfway through 95 total that includes protein from rice bread and such, for a male of course, the lower limit is 70, up to 100 is OPTIMAL, over 100 is poisonous to human body

so 3rd of a scoop of best shit there is (whey gold standard) IF every meal is pure rice (and bread and butter and maybe some veggies blah blah and multiviatin pill) if there is meat then nope, u don't need extra - it's not gonna grow more muscle, it's gonna diminish growth by deteriorating your health - toxic farts, bad sleep, bowel inflammation

I don't really like forcing a lot of protein (a ton of tuna, chicken breast, egg whites, skyr, etc). Whatever comes from normal meat cuts and whatever comes from a couple whole eggs, and maybe a bit of hard cheese, and maybe a glass of milk in the morning, and maybe some fish. As for plant matter, I like eating chickpeas, lentils and rice.
I think that's enough protein to come by naturally, anything more than that feels really awkward and off, I don't feel good at all bodily.

i absolutely love salmon and beef. i'm doing a long cleanse right now though and fasting most days. just veggies and a little carbs. the first few weeks were hard but i feel better now. st. patrick's day is next week and im going to make corned beef and cabbage, like i do every year.

three more weeks and i'll be a carnivore again. i feel better and more focused when i limit carbs and not proteins.
