It’s fine, absolutely and 100% fine. White rice is only considered shit when you consider what other micronutrients you can pick up while ingesting a carb base in your meal, but you’re not going to be deficient if you’re otherwise eating like the people who eat white rice every day. There are far more impactful things to address first before picking apart how to maximize the impact of your source of carbs, by the this is the most important thing you’re doing functionally perfect anyway.
i've come off keto for about a week and reintroduced carbs, specifically brown rice, potatoes and fruits. went from like less than 10g per day to having around 200g (trying to get more in desu) so i can have more energy for the gym. i've gained 2kg over this week though. pretty sure i'm still in a deficit since i count everything, is this just water weight from the carbs?
