thoughts on rest pause sets?
very good, i do up to 8 reps to failure, then rest 15 sec, then do half the initial repsthen final set is 5,4,3,2,1 with 8rm

You shouldn't do them on every exercise, but if you feel like a muscle needs a little bit more love or you feel like you could have pushed a set harder, they're great tools.I tend to do rest pause on machines, mostly for legs, it's great on leg press when you want to hammer out an extra rep or two.free weights I prefer drop sets, the goat being on lateral raises. just run the rack down on your last working set. gives an insane pump.
