How long since your last cig?
Why'd you quit?
How you holding up?

>How long since your last cig?
I'm not exactly sure when my last one was, but about a month today or yesterday.
>Why'd you quit?
Had a rough few years and finally found the balls to work my way out of it. Started exercising again in December, quit weed early January, then cigarettes mid-February. I spent a week at my parents' house and when I came home I realized how bad my place stinks of smoke and grief. I don't want chemicals or addictions to have any hold over me, I want total control of myself and my mind.
>How you holding up?
Still getting cravings, but I know they go away. I quit before for ~5 years and then started smoking again when shit hit the fan. This time is the last time. How about you OP?

Tobacco raises testosterone

Weed is for fags

smoked about 15 Davidoffs on Saturday night, fuck I wish I could just drink and smoke in moderation but I always end up just going full on and regretting it for the next 7 days

I quit weed and moved onto tobacco. Loose tobacco only, either in a pipe or hand rolled unfiltered cigs. Smoking is cool just don't be obnoxious about it.

I quit July 2014 and smoked about 10 years before that. I still get the urge to light one up

>How long since your last cig?
October of 2019.

>Why'd you quit?
I somehow knew the next one I lit would be the one which gave me a stroke and put me in a wheelchair. By that point I was smoking two packs a day. I just threw the pack in the garbage and never gave it a single thought.

>How you holding up?
It was effortless, although I suspect having read The Easy Way to Stop Smoking has a lot to do with it. It didn't work at the time, but the day I finally stopped, I haven't had a single craving, not one. I don't think about it at all and every time I smell cigarette smoke, I gag. I think if I entered a smoke-filled room, I'd throw up.

I do think I have COPD, however. And I also have a sex drive for the first time in my life (I started smoking in my early teens). It's almost kind of frightening. On days I don't screw I jack off like three times and I'm 51.

Need advice
>Casual smoker 16-21
>Started vaping in college, became constant vaper
>Last year ditched the vape, switched to zyn
>First week without vaping i was constantly craving a vape so im pretty sure im consuming much less nicotine via pouches than i was vaping
>Settled into 6mg zyns
>Eventually tapered off to 3mg zyns
>Down from 15 a day to ~5-7 3mg zyns daily
Assuming I should keep spacingout the lower dose zyns then maybe try cold turkey? or like day breaks in between? havent gone 24hr without nicotine in literally years

Just keep lowering the dose and frequency until you only have one a day. I wouldn't do one day breaks. If you can go one day, you can go two. If you can go two, you can go three and so on.

Friday night was the last smoke hopefully ever
I've been smoking on and off for 18 years and this time it isn't hard at all compared to other attempts at quitting.
I'm chewing nicotine gum but only 5-6 pieces a day. Going to switch from 4mg to 2mg in a week or so and then stop a while after that

I've only craved a cigarette once but the nicotine cravings are still there

starting vaping 2026, quit about 8 or 9 times since then mostly lasting between 1-3 months every time. the problem is everyone in my friend circle vapes, which I can sometimes tolerate until I drink a bunch then it's over. I'm one week in, hoping it sticks this time
