has anyone ever tried out one of these "electric resistance" machines like the Vitruvian or Innodigym or Tonal or ARX or whatever? i can't stand my commercial gym anymore so i wanna shift to working out at home but i don't really have the room for a rack and weights, so something compact like this could be interesting. it claims to generate a lot of resistance, but i'm concerned it might feel "weird"of course i'm not going to buy one off the shelf where i can only use it with a mandatory app that spies on me 24/7 but these things shouldn't be too hard to reverse engineer

These things suck ass compared to a standard barbell and rubber or metal plates. Plus they're filled to the brim with retarded subscriptions. These devices only exist to scam lardasses who are too afraid to step foot into a gym, but want to pretend like they're working out. Find a new commercial gym or a proper space for a small home gym. Or you could buy one of these things and see how useless they really are for intermediates/advanced lifters.
