I find the best time to have a run is after an upper body workout with a rest day before your lower day. It’s possible after a lower day but your performance will be affected and improper running form can lead to injury so go at a more gentle pace. I recommend only doing this when cutting. For post-leg day run, make sure it’s reasonably fast paced/fartlek and only for 2-5km at most - ideally no more than 3.5km unless fat loss is your goal. Walking is far better cardio as it can be done for a longer period of time without affecting recovery
