Was Reg Park natty?
>>77166880i doubt he was natty by the end
>>77166880obviously not/thread
>>77166880>full head of hair>no HGH guthow did they do it, seriously?
Wow imagine waking up every morning hugging those pecs.
>>77166955Thats gay

>>77167861Was he stretching that psoas that he keeps yapping about?
>>77167846Seek help schizo
>>77166887>>77166924He was natty at first.Roid trannies like to cope but roids weren't used in body building in America until after 1954 after Russians used them to btfo America in the Olympics. This means the golden and silver age greats reached their peaks BEFORE people knew of proper roid use and we're natty.
>>77168400He had a 500lbs bench press in 1950. Yeah, the country where steroids originated was not the first to give it to their top athletes
>>77168465Russia was the first country to synthesize anabolic testosterone and used it in the 1952 Olympics. America didn't so got btfo. It was this that lead to the west developing it's first productive anabolic testosterone
>>77166880In the early days he looked like a natty with good genes (pic related). Though he started to get bigger it went on into the 60's as he was almost as big as Arnold then.
>>77168628Here's Reg with Arnold.
>>77166998The problem is that Reeves frame-mogged Park. Bodybuilding was more about the outline then than definition and Reeves had the outline give how wide his clavicles were compared to everyone else. The standards certainly were different at the time. It's like that picture with Arnold next to Mike Mentzer in 1980. Not much of a weight difference yet Arnold looks way bigger not just because of height but because he was that much wider. 1940-1950's body building was much more like the Frank Zane school of thought than the Arnold one. It was all about the outline. Shape, shoulders, lats, and arms. Abs and pecs were not as important then. Good to have them. But you would've trade more for shape favoring incline press over flat bench
>>77168682>tradetrained
>>77166880He looks like a jacked Jeffrey Epstein.
>>77166880Hate to be that schizo guy but these days google would flag this as potential child pornography and the feds would be going through all your private online accounts and potentially a home raid and google account entirely permanently wiped of all precious family memories.
>>77166880Look at the abs, on the otherwise out of shape middle aged man on the right. No muscle, but abs. People ate better food back then. Little to no fat on that guy. Just untrained.

>>77166880Imagine the sex
>>77168909>No muscle, but absYou are fucking retarded beyond belief.
>>77168564American silver era sissies, how do we respond?
>>77169830Eugen Sandow was using cocaine to cut weight. I'm sorry to deceive you all, but not even the bronze era of bodybuilding was natty
>>77169563Poorly phrased. He was lean enough to see the abs, despite the absence of otherwise meaningfully visible, trained hypertrophied skeletal muscle.

>>77169830Have some from '41. Just google Metandren and put the time until "1943". It's fun to research stuff.
>>77173802>"Male sex hormone therapy">1941Can we finally put the myth "Steroids were invented by the Soviets in the 60s" to rest?

>>77167978the deletion has literally proven my point, newfag retard.
>>77168682How does incline give one more shape than flat bench?
>>77166948Don't do growth hormone or analogues. Hair is kind of genetic, avoiding DHT anabolics helps.
>>77168400You're just a retard
>>77168909When you're done jerking off you could notice he's loitering in a swimsuit in public. So not only does he likely swim but also is body confident enough to hang about in little clothing. He probably considered himself quite in shape.
>>77168682>reeves frame logged park
>>77173803Look at these juicy watery test bloated bodybuilders in 1948. A ffmi above 25 is suggestive of anabolic steroid usage. Look at grimeks jump in ffmi in 1 year lolI bet these guys loaded up on methyltestosterone pills just before a show to bloat up with glycogen and water to get full juicy puffy muscles.Show any bodybuilders before 1935 that look like this.
>>77173884I agree with this. Once you have the eyes for it that fullness looks offputting. I don't think the human body is meant to have that much mass, think about how many of our ancestors fought in war, they fought daily for hours and had to perform very well. Not with a perfect diet of tons of protein but with as little as possible. The human body adapted to have the least amount of quality muscle tissue as possible, it wants the most power and the most strength with the least amount of tissue. Hypertrophy training goes directly against this principle. It's a bourgeouisie thing, and I'm not a commie just a pseudointellectual with too much freetime.
>>771738031900 btw
In 2060 we'll have teenagers saying gear wasn't around in 2010 and sharing Conor Murphy photos for natty lifters before goyslop made everyone small.
>>77173929Yeah for better results or worse humans are designed to get the most out of a little and not a lot out of excess. There are MASSIVE diminishing gains in basically all human domains past a basic provision. It's like helicopter parents spending 36 hours a day making their kid an excelling genius who in the end will end up 5% better than an equivalent kid whose parents put him in front of the tv and said see you later. We're pack animals and not designed for individual excellence because in nature one utter beast gets easily felted by 3 scrawny scrappers.
>>77173805>>77173884This shit was not anabolic at all lmao. Yeah man random American bodybuilders were utilizing steroids decades before any organized sport institutions. The Yanks simply decided not to use the clearly super functional methyltestosterone on their athletes for years. The Soviet sports machine had too much respect for their athletes to jeopardize their health, it's obvious. Dr. Ziegler made Dianabol for no particular reason, as methyltestosterone gave you all the anabolism and none of the side effects! No liver damage, no zits, no estrogen conversion, just muscle building!Delusional.

>>77173884For starters those numbers are all bullshit. The measurements and bodyweights on which these FFMI calculations are completely based on were all bullshit. There was no silver era bodybuilder with an FFMI anywhere near 28, arnold at his peak had an FFMI of 28, anyone who actually believes any silver era bodybuilder had an FFMI in the 26-28 range is a retard and I blame greg nuckolds along with his reddit fanbase for helping spread this bullshit. One quick glance at your own image should be enough for anyone who isn't a subtard that these FFMI calculations are all bullshit, how tf did delinger have a higher FFMI than this?
>>77172617>Silver era bodybuilders were natty>But they used test prop and mtest>Uh well...uh... those roids suck anywayYou're the one coping, m8
>>77178075Billy Ralph, 1925, sorry about your genetics Mr Patel
>>77173826Developing the upper pecs for a lot of size around the shoulders. Neglect the lower pecs so you don't get meat boobies. That's what shape is about.
>>77173884Those guys back then are all 20% bodyfat. No one had any definition before Vince Gironda. Only a couple Mr. America winners had 18" arms. 18" is probably close to the natty limit for arm size. Maybe some lucky guy today with a specialization program could get up to 18.5" if they got one-in-a-billion genetics and spent years specializing. Everyone else had smaller than that. Steve Reeves for instance only had 17.5" arms (with 7.9" wrists). It's really a matter of people overestimating how big people in the past were compared to people later. If you took those same guys as they were and lined them up in any 70's body building show they'd be dwarfed in size yet called fat for being so smooth.
>>77168909That's Marky Mark, you philistine. Show some respect.
>>77175549Didn't this guy inject goat testosterone or something insane like that?
>is x natty?what is the point of these posts? you're either looking for an excuse to stop trying because you've reached your "natty limit" or an excuse to hop on roidseither way you should cut the bullshit and just do it without waiting for justification since you were never going to make it anyway
>>77178952These retards actually believe people with flexed 17" arms could have an FFMI of 27-28.
>>77168564Germans synthesized test in the 30s retard.
>>77173874>all of them are 18-20% body fathungry bros, we were born in the wrong generation
>>77172617Test prop isn’t effective?
>>77178899Are Billy's 1925 genetics yours too? Faggot.
For a good chunk of his time he was. You’ve got to remember that he had what modern bodybuilders rarely have: an athletic base. He was a footballer, rugby player, cricketer and soldier. He knew how to exercise and recover. He could swim and shoot and run and so on. Obviously he was also a massive genetic outlier but his base fitness was way higher than most guys todayGuys like that tend to live longer, too. It’s not just the roids, it’s being fit. His routine and approaches would seem outdated now but what is also out of date is the concept of having a base level of physical ability before bodybuilding. Out of the Mr Olympias and Universes this generation, how many were athletes in their youth?
