Today was leg day and I missed it. I run a U/U/L/U split. The problem is, I hate training legs. I used to like it when my lower back wasn't an issue and I could focus more on strength, but now it's - literally - a pain in my ass.
What should I do in order to make leg day some what fun in my situation?

>hates doing legs
>has an entire day dedicated to them
You'll always be tempted to skip or half-ass it. Instead, do 1-2 leg exercises first thing in every workout, so that you'll want to get them done in order to proceed to lifts you enjoy.

Yes. Legs days are retarded. There is only one leg exercise. Just squat at the start of the session and do everything else after.

Calf raises and everything else is just fluff to fill the pointless leg day.
>>
Finally started doing dumbell squats and i'm not only hitting my lower with legs but parts if my abs as well. Good starter for my ab routine.

Nah ppl is still king

quads are push. hams and glutes are pull.
>>
cut it down to 5 movements, 2 or 3 sets each

leg curl
squat/hack/press
rdl/sldl (the only exercise the average leg day hater actually enjoys)
leg extension
calf/adductors

whats with the fat zogslug wrapped around his neck, does it eat most of his protein? is it a gains goblin?

>the tojifag spammer is doing a retarded garbage program because he dislikes it
I am shocked. There should be no issue with your lower back. Learn how to fucking brace. Do high bar and front bar squats, no low bar. Avoid deadlifts if you suck at them, instead RDLs and barbell back extensions. Do proper ULUL.

What about lunges?

what about deez nutz in yo mouf bitch

Squats are my favorite movement by far but they don't hit your hammies very well.
You're right generally speaking though, people hate leg day because they have poor conditioning and it's exhausting. Just don't do 50 movements that hit quads and glutes. Doing BSS on the same day you do squats is stupid.

Seated leg press
Hamstring curls
Abductions
Adductions
Leg extensions
Calves
Donkey kickbacks

That hits it all.

Fuck squats. Zoomerfags love squats because it simulates them sitting on a cock and protrudes their asses like a bitch in heat. Literally every lifter at my gym does seated leg presses and/or hack squats because it does the exact same thing as freestanding BB squats.

Lunges and BSS are excellent IMO. I do lunges with either kettlebells or a simple 30 pound bb on my neck

Your back’s hurting prolly from meme squats. Unless you’re a powerlifter there’s no reason to do them. Hell, Dorian Yates won Mr Olympia 6 times with leg press and extensions

Absolute savant advice.
For me, after the normal warm-up, I do 2 sets of leg curls and 2 sets of lunges. Every workout day, non negotiable. It's not that intense to take away from the usual exercises, doesn't wreck your lower back in any way, doesn't cause so much spine compression and fatigue, leaves your upper body warmed but still relatively fresh for the day, and most importantly, it chips away at the brutality that is leg training. When I actually do train my legs, due to the accumulated volume, I'm left with squats and romanian deadlifts. That's it.
Been lifting for 10ish years, and the conclusion is a leg day after neglecting the legs days in a row, is retarded. Legs should be engaged every workout. And most people have criminally weak and undeveloped hamstrings

leg day is cope for your true calling which is climbing mountains
>>
>>77171912
For me it's hillrunning
I believe a man's true athletic potential is the ability to traverse hills. Thunk about what sort of OP power it is to run up and down hills in an era where there are no cars. Your average bloke can barely go up 5 steps before gassing out and collapsing, meanwhile the hillrunner sprints past him tumbles down like a mad man... now imagine a whole clan of those beasts, there would be nobody who could stand against them

I climb mountains backwards son you can’t even comprehend how difficult that is but I do it all the time. You’re not on my level little boy.
