>does nothing seriously why do people talk about this exercise like it's magic
doesn't it keep you from shrinking over time? i'm only 6'1 i can't afford to lose an inch
>>77171400>people talk about this exercise like it's magicThey do?
>>77171400only thing i can say with certainty grew my wrists
>>77171403I should have invested in deadhangs. I dropped down to 5'11 over the past 10 years
>>77171400went from 6.15" to 6.2 babe
>>77171403>>77171423>>77171429Not how that works.
>>77171433I dont believe you nor will I change my mind on the matter.
>>77171437I don't give a shit. You're not gaining permanent height from pull-ups or hangs.
>>77171440Very convincing argument, ive changed my mind!!!
>>77171440but what about retaining your hieght
>>77171400Wouldn't hanging from the neck or head be more effective?I don't want monkey arms or a giraffe neck either 2bh
>>771714002 handed does nothing yeahTry with 1 hand
>>77171400It is preventative. It doesn't make you bigger or stronger, it simply prevents pain and dysfunction. Next.
>>77171400It's magic for your posture and quality of life in the long term. Plus hanging from something is one of the few semi-realistic life or death scenarios where sufficent training could make the difference.
>>77171400It's not an exercise you retarded faggot. It's a stretch, and a fucking good one.
>>77171400When i got my power tower at home i first hanged from it to see if it was stable and every single part of my spine cracked. It felt SO FUCKING GOOD. I was training at home and i couldnt do pullups, so i was compressed into shit
>>77171400trains grip and stretches your spine, help with mobility and injury prevention. I do it 3 times a week 3 sets of at least 50 seconds, on my rest days where i do my stretch routine. My grip got stronger over jsut a few weeks after introducing them.
>>7717140010 years ago I got fat by bulkingI was doing a meme calisthenics routine and bulked 15 kg mostly fatThe only thing that got big actually were my lats, they got huge none of my shirts would fit because of my backPull ups do work lil gup (I was doing them weighted tho)
>>77171908>Pull ups do work lil gup (I was doing them weighted tho)Why do you write like this? It's cancer
>>77172051Its a 40 year old millenial who hasn't lifted a weight in 20 years pretending to be a zoomer or doomer or whatever ironically (because irony is the only lens through which millenials can negotiate the world)
>>77171400It does nothing for me also anon.in fact the exact opposite helps me where i just stretch the lower body, something about stretching the hips releases my back.
>>77171400youre not supposed to just hangyou want to slightly pull and engage your lats from a stretched position
>>77171400If you have a sedentary job it feels good.
>>77171400>seriously why do people talk about this exercise like it's magicliterally doesn't happen. tard.
>>77171400it feels good
>>77171400stretches your lats and builds up your gripkill yourself, OP. You're spiritually brown
Its a grip exerciseWhich means you also engage the muscles around the shoulders, and you get decompression on top of that.
it's decompressing your lumbartry shoulder width, make sure your feet aren't touching the ground (your legs fully hangs) and look downfeels amazing at the end of your workout
Saw thumbnail in catalog and thought this thread was about pullups. THEN we'd have something to talk about >>77171908Sorry, they do nothing amigo.
