Judo is hardcoreI've been training for a month and the falls are brutal. It's also very technical and I feel like a bitch because I have no coordination and no skill. I wish I had started as a kidIt's gonna be a long road bros
>>77171516>judoLmao u hug men FAG
>>77171519don't skip neck day
>>77171545NeverI also never skip forearms
>>77171516>it's all fun and games>untill you get ragdolled like fucking crash test dummy>and slammed on the mat like a wet rag>but you get to do this to others tooBeen there, done that. Good memories.
>>77171545Yeah, this kind of shit saved my fucking life once. Was running at full speed and some faggot piece of shit tripped me, was flying to the ground head-first and I immediately threw my arm forward did a judo roll without thinking. Broke my collarbone, but at least not my fucking neck.Once that shit is ingrained it never leaves you.
Wish I never stopped doing judo. Practiced for a good decade, started at fucking 7 years old, went all the way to 17 or 18, something like that. I was a mortal weapon, still am a beast but I stopped any physical contact sport, all I do is lifting and cardio like a gymcel. I should have kept going with judo but at the time seemed like a waste of time for what I wanted (be jacked and get women)Now in my 30s and the gym, again, looks like a waste of time for what i actually want (mobility, joint health and athleticism/jumping and explosive ability)Maybe 15 years from now I'll go back on these words.
>>77171885Just jump back into itYou can get most of your gains in like 2 years at the gym, but getting good at martial arts is a lifelong commitment, 10 years of experience is a lot as is
>>77171885It's a whole different game in your 30s my man, you'll feel it. Maybe less so since your did that as a kid, but your knees and ankles and neck and shoulders aren't so young anymore.
