1. No Beer, optimally no alcohol. Alcohol also wants you to eat. You will drink more than you planned, so dont start. Also it fucks your metabolism
2. Walk everyday, whatever you feel comfortable with. Creating the habit is 75%
3. Caloric deficit. Calculate your TDEE, use chatgpt to estimate calories of meals. It doesn’t have to be exact, but always aim to be a couple hundred below your TDEE.
4. Stop snacking, get comfortable being hungry. Its temporary, hunger comes in waves. Endure some of them, it’s not that bad.
5. No sugar drinks, recude carbs to a minimum. Eat sourdough bread instead of white bread.
6. Weigh yourself every second or third day. Optimally in the morning after taking a shit. Hang a piece of Paper in your bathroom and note the weight, round down to the nearest pound. Graph it. You will feel motivated because at first your gonna lose some very quickly within a few days. This will stall over time and some days you will have a pound more even tough you did eveything right, this is normal. Trust the process.
7. Sleep more
8. Eat things that keep you full longer. Steaks and meat is your friend. Use tallow as fat. No seed oils. Treat yourself with a Steak every couple of days. Feels good man. It’s easy: heat a pan, tallow in, 4 mins on each side, Heat down, Butter and garlic in, use spoon to baste (pick up fat and garlic with spoon and pour over strak repeadetly for a minute. Heat off, steak out, let rest for five minutes
9. if you fuck up, it’s not over. Dont piss away any progress just because you failed a couple of days.
10. You will be amazed whats possible
