i'm +9 lbs in 6.5 weeks of bulking and need to slow my rollshould i just eat at maintenance for a few weeks until the timeline catches up? should i eat at deficit for a little bit? or take the L and just bulk more slowly from here on out?noob lifter btw
>>77172705>he fell for the bulking/cutting memeStop that and just eat decent, and work out. You don't need to do anything special besides trying to eat a little more protein as a noob lifter
>>77172720when you think about it, everything's a meme unless you speak about it in such intentionally vague terms like "just eat decent, and work out" that no one could possibly disagree>bulking/cuttingmeme>lean bulkingmeme>'maingaining'meme>compoundsmeme>machinesmeme>3-day full bodymeme>PPLmeme>brosplitmeme>cardionogainz meme>any fad dietmeme>supplementsmeme
>>77172720half right, you will get noob gains doing basically anything but you will get better gains obviously if everything is dialed in.>bulking/cutting memeI understand it’s hot right now to regurgitate that you don’t need a surplus to maximally build muscle but that is only true to an extent. I would like to see anyone try to intuitively eat or maingain their way to 200lbs lean from a skinny fat 150. It just isn’t possible.Anyway, OP, 1.3lbs per week isn’t ideal but it also isn’t the most aggressive bulk ever. Calm down and realize that the first few pounds were without a doubt water/glycogen, so even in a generous 4.5 weeks of real appreciable tissue gain you probably didn’t put on enough fat for it to really matter in the bigger picture. I’m not sure how lean you see to begin with but if you are 15% or over try not to exceed 0.5lb per week gain, your nutrient partitioning gets worse the less lean you are. If you are skinnyfag 0.5-0.75lb a week is fine in my own experience. Measure your waist weekly if you can that’ll be the biggest sign of unnecessary fat gain. If you’re gaining an inch a month or especially higher than that you are putting on fat. Look at your weekly averages for true calorie and bodyweight averages. Adjust up or down 200-300 at a time. I would suggest cutting your calories down by 250-300 and sticking with it for another 2 weeks and watching your rate of gain, if it’s higher than what you want cut another 100-200 down. You haven’t ruined your bulk though, don’t worry. You just need to make an adjustment.
>>77172705lmao stupid fucking nattys eating more than roiders do and wondering why they get fat. You're probably eating almost 1000kal a day more than you need to.Disgusting.
>>77172829right and then they cut like shit if it all. the most you should cut and bulk is +-200 calories this is called having willpower and trust you wont be a lardass and overeat by 2000 calories. inb4 i need to lose 300 pounds
>>77172821ty, i just got a fabric tape measure the other day, i will watch the waist
Unless you're already 200+ that's way too slow. Don't ask questions without giving your basic stats>>77172720You sound small and weak, have you ever posted body?
>>771729565'11" 174 currentlyi do not subscribe to the rippetoean school of fat logic however
That sounds like good bulking. I gain 5 or 6 pounds just from having a weekend where I don't watch my diet. Mostly water youll piss out in a few days when you get your diet back under control.
>>77172705Take the L, aim to gain half a pound per week from here on out, accept that when you do your cut you just added like a month of extra cutting
>>77172720Please let us know when you're out of your beginner gains stage
>>771727059lbs is nothing. If you aren't willing to get big then you were never bulking anyway. Just go back to fucking around.
>>77172829>>77172850you guys should fight>>77172956>>77174551
>>77174091>>77172956>t. lardass And no its's not muscle, its fat
>>77172956>200+fatass tierlet me guess, you throw around the term “victim weight” and have a belly shaped like a beer keg
