why do straight men like professional bodybuilding? What's the appeal? Just rooting for a guy from their area?
>>77174391Homosexuals in the closet OR underage boys in search of socially accepted masculinity. Combat sports and military service aren't socially accepted anymore, being a long haired renegade biker was never, so becoming an overgrown beast of burden it is. You look at east physically strong that way.
>>77174400>Homosexuals in the closeti specifically asked about straight men you fucking retard fuck off from my thread
>>77174403Homos in the closet are officially very, even extremely straight, just look at blacks. No idea why you'd get so triggered by this except if I struck a nerve by accident, ou homo.
>>77174409no, you arent straight, you are a homo, denying it doesnt change that you like men
>>77174414Wtf are you talking about, man? U havin an episode
>>77174421>ebonicsSo you are the closeted nigger you were babbling about after all
>>77174391>why do straight men like professional bodybuilding?I don't think they do
I think there's something interesting in a genuine pursuit of bodily extremes. I don't find the physiques attractive.Sam's not gonna place well in this UK event BTW, he looks a lot smaller than he did at the Arnolds a few weeks back. The double-edged sword of standing next to Vissers, I guess.
>>77174391bodybuilding is extremely niche, i lift for aesthetics and even i pay 0 attention to bodybuilding besides hearing who won the arnold and mr. olympia on /fit/but anyway, i don't see why it would be any different from caring about another niche individual judged sport like diving or something
>>77174391>Just rooting for a guy from their area?a lot of the appeal is this nowadays. and it was already like that before with arnoldi don't think the majority are extremely into it, more like just following somewhat from far you should look at some deeper analyse of those competitions on youtube, it's actually much more interesting that it seems and you really learn stuff about the shape of the body it's not about just who has the biggest body, it's about who looks the best, who moves the best, who poses the best, who looks the most confidentlooking at your image, i know it's a still, but there are two guys smiling and making it looks easy and two other guys stoic and probably wondering if they are gonna rank last or 3rdit's about seeing what is the peak human physique, the technical appreciation or everything i mentioned abovemost people just think "who looks the biggest" but once you start to notice how they move, how they act, basically how they look without taking into account the muscle, it can be interesting
>>77175621I just wanna see freaks
>>77174391>>77174430>Professional bodybuilding is a clown show, has been since the mid-2000s. I really think the appeal now is to gays, body dysmorphia sufferers, and people who just don’t know what a good physique looks like.>bodybuilding as a pursuit and lifestyleis awesome, within reason.
>>77174391>>77176120It was always fucking gay as hell. You literally ruin your health, relationships, waste money, time and effort so you can parade in panties for obese jewish smelly judges. Like a peagant for mentally ill men. It was the same during Arnold's era. He was literally doing Gay4Pay when he came to USA to pay for his steroids.
>>77176120>>bodybuilding as a pursuit and lifestyle>is awesome, within reason.Only if 100% natty. The moment you touch a needle it's gay
>>77174391I'm by no means a fan of body building, but I respect the fact that they completely fuck themselves up to try and achieve something great.
>>77174391Straight men in general don't like bodybuilding, they find it either intimidating or a vanity-fuelled farce where blatant substance abusers line up on stage for a male beauty pageant. The only males who like bodybuilding are1. Other bodybuilders, or bb-adjacent (strongman, powersharters, looksmaxxers)2. Teenage boys3. Homosexuals
>>77176412>vanity-fuelledThey all seem to be aware that they look like freaks and people don't like it. I've seen a video of Chris bumstead talking about how fucked up it is to do a sport that's hyper critical of your body not looking freaky enough. They do it because they're competitive and they want to win.
>>77174391it would be so cool if they threw out all the ordinary conventions- the vacuum, the bronzing, the heroic doses of steroids, and the monstrous legs. i think that the owners and the judges are the problem. they've taken a competition that once celebrated fitness, health, and aesthetics and twisted into its opposite. maybe the could do something simple to fix it- like put it on television and let the audience judge.
I don't know why watching sports is such a difficult concept for the gay faggots on this site.Anyway. Arnold Classic UK thread?I will be with the naysayers and say that the physiques went to shit, all these site enhancements and insulin bloating shouldn't be allowed, very disappointing line up. Andrew Jacked absolutely ruined his physique, now he has a gut and even the same lat lumps Derek Lunsford has.Only positive is Patrick Moore, he's full of shit too, but kind of worth it, very nice lines, such a unique build, glad to see him get a good placing again.
>>77175635this and appreciation of the work put inimagine how many reps of needle-in-ass these fellers dogenuinely impressive
Just finished. Live stream was at https://arnoldsports.brandlive.com/Arnold-Sports-Festival-UK-2026/en/homeShould be available for replay. I almost missed it too, they didn't send me a single email that it's coming up, yet their shitty Indian sponsor gymreapers keeps sending me emails even after I unsubscribed.Andrew Jacked clear winner, Curry picks up silver after the field opened up. Fitzwater was off so Patrick Moore got third, good for him, good money too I think.Gallerys will be on npcnewsonline.com
>>77174391>professional bodybuilding?Professional bodybuilding, keyword--professional, is actual mental illness and body dysmorphia. Straight men have no business cheering for this.strongmen/powersharting on the otherhand is acceptable.
>>77174391I don't, and you shouldn't....? It's fucking gay, literal homo erotic pageantry. Most of the contestants are gay or only capable of cumming through their ass. I feel like you soft balled this looking for an explanation to use. Queer.
you can tell anons who says it's a gay sport are dyel
