How harmful are "Natural Flavors", "Artificial Flavors", "Sunflower Lecithin" in protein powders?
>>77174908Not much. I went down the rabbit hole on this stuff years ago and came up with a lot of inconclusive answers, or the evidence of harm was so small you’d have to eat a truckload of the stuff to have to worry. Of course, the ideal would be to have none of that, but overall they didn’t seem too bad. Side note: Ghost Lucky Charms is just their regular marshmallow cereal flavor but with actual lucky charms marshmallows and wasn’t worth it imo. They have much better generic flavors. The Trix one is good because it’s a less intense version of the fruity cereal flavor; downside is it does have those food dyes everyone hates now (derived from coal tar, iirc).
>>77174908the main issue is it is overpriced slop
>>77176173>overpricedMaybe, but they made their name during the amino spiking scandals by being honest about the protein content, so I appreciate that. More to your point, I am willing to pay extra for good flavoring. I remember in the 2000s when all whey tasted like chalk or badly masked chalk. It’s inexcusable so many whey protein powders still taste bad now. Also, I think a big part of the price has been the demand for protein has exploded since marketers convinced normies they need added protein in all their processed grocery store goyslop.
>>77176135>coal tarI don't understand why these faggots can't just make a good protein powder without any bullshit.
>>77176648Bc artificial food dyes are cheap. Natural ones would erode their margins.
>>77174908What you should actually worry about is if there really is as much protein as they say.
