ok I am sick and tired of jogging and want to mix things up. is walking with a 15-20kg weighted west a sensible alternative? are there down sides like fucking up my knees? I dont plan on actually running, just regular walking on non-lift days to get some low intensity cardio in.
>>77176735It's all relative unfortunately. Like I can do 60-80 miles with a 60 lb pack (actual camping gear) in a weekend and be fine. But if I did 20 miles three days a week I'd probably break something.
>>77176735more of an east walker myself
>weighted vestjust get a backpack you nonce
>>77176801Exactly, bend in half, then "walk" - it's good for ya:>>77176776
>>77176776>is walking with 15-20kg sensible?>>77176776>WALKING WITH 100 KG IS BAD YOU DUMBASSlearn to fucking read maybe?
>>771768285 kilos on your back will bend u over idiot, can't into sarcasm? Center of gravity changed very quickly for torso.
>>77176735Yeah its a good idea, just don't go too heavy. 40-50lbs and you will be fine. Good way to build up the lower limbs. Knees should be fine. Running and plyos would stress them out more.
Don't go east otherwise you reverse your gains

>>77176776>>77176823>thinking the guy in OP is roidedWhy are you even posting here, schizoretard? You don't lift anyway
>>77176735Long term rucking is pretty shit for your back and knees yes. 20kg here and there will be completely fine.
>>77176735Why don't you try weighted swimming if you are afraid of your knees??
>>77176873based
>>77176873This. Weighted swimming from the deep end is goated exercise
>>77176735>Being overweight = bad for joints>Being overweight via weighted clothing = ?????Come on you retard.
>>77176735The issue is when dropping down, not climbing up. Even a 30cm drop where you land on your feet can feel dangerous.
>>77176828Why do that retards posts get deleted all the time lol. Not that I'm complaining
