What level of strength would it take to tackle Peyton Hillis to the ground? How much would you need to squat or bench?
>>
Strength means nothing if you don’t have technique and can’t read the offense
>getting the obvious out of the way
I think the average NFL linebacker is benching 350+ and squatting in the 500s. That’s on top of running a ton of sprints

an average scrum half's

Why would I want to tackle him, I need to knock him out or incapacitate before I get dog piled.
>>
>>77177169
If you're comparitively weak and light though he could easily eat your offense or get you off your feet. Nobody is that bad at fighting, he could get to ufc heavyweight in under 1yr unless he's illiterate but he still went to school.

Because he’s a running back you idiot
>>77177238
He plays offense you idiot. You’d be playing defense if you were trying to tackle him.

Can non-Americans fuck off already?
>>
>>77177162
He's a pussy compared to most rugby players. None of them have to wear steel plated armour like him.
>>
I would use my superior intellect to devise an elaborate scheme and/or trap to disable his legs and bring him to the ground
>>
>>77177162
Demetrius Johnson would submit him within 30 seconds and I doubt he can bench anymore than 200lbs

Damn, I wonder who will win?
>The Hall of Famer
>The Brown
>>
>>77178235
Yeah but they barely hit each other
>>
>>77178386
Then why do they wear their full body armour?
>>
>>77178540
No, the rugby guys barely hit each other. Everyone (by everyone I mean effeminate europeans) always says rugby guys are tougher cause they don't wear padding. But they sure as hell don't hit each other like NFL players do.

Kek wrong

Get your bitch ass sport out of here
>>
>>77177162
Why does he have a cameltoe?
>>
>>77177162
It's not really strength. Depends on the setting. In the backfield? You just grab him by the pads and drop your bodyweight, if your grip maintains or you're larger than him, he's going down. If you wrap up his legs, same deal. Mostly grip strength. Going straight through his chest while he has the ball and lowers his shoulder? No amount of strength is going to save you, you'd have to be squatting 700+ with a low centre of gravity to go through him leaning with advantage. It's more about mass at that point.

You foreign fags are retarded but have such hubris that you think that you’re geniuses. It’s the same thing with boxing. If they were to go bareknuckle then they wouldn’t be able to hit each other as hard. 20 years ago giganigs would actually dive into one another at full speed and scramble their brains for our entertainment.

probably not much nowadays since he's probably riddled with chronic joint pain and CTE
