You need to take it easy with fiber at first, if you’re coming from a diet with very little of it (believable for this board). Your body needs to get used to it. They are "satiating" in the sense that they make you feel really full due to GI obstruction and gas buildup from gut fermentation
They're "low gi" compared to most other carb sources, but that's not saying much because any carbohydrate rich food will spike your blood sugar so it does not matter.

Just because something provides one benefit doesn't mean it is a healthy food much less a staple, this is something that retarded normgroids don't understand.
