I dropped down to doing it once a month then I cut it out completely and the only thing that changed was that I was no longer as good at deadlifts as I used to be. It really 'fills' your body, makes everything from your knees to your neck get a little bit thicker. You can often spot people who lift but don't deadlift. The easiest tell is their lack of erectors. But there's also something kind of frail and incomplete. They didn't thicken all those tiny and odd torso muscles.
