I've been eating until I'm nauseous for the past few months and I've barely managed to put on 10 poundswhat do?
>>77180408You lucky fucking piece of shit ;_;
>>77180408I'm gaining a lot of weight but not enough of it is muscle. I've even been tried doubling the amount of sets per workout.
>>77180420Try doing more powerlifting at the beginning of the week and as the weight goes down you do more fiber specific movements, I'm increasing my bench so I'm doing barbell like every other day for 6 days then bodybuilding chest as I work on delts and back for like 4 days. Carbs spiked pwo and protein high all day. 2 workouts a day sometimes. I listen to my body when to take a few days off. Candy and soda are your friend pwo. Bigger pump.
>>77180408GOMAD with cinnamon toast crunch, as much as you want.
Just eat chips and shit, it's easy af
>>77180428pseudoscience anecdote. No hate, but this kind of approach is only worth it if increasing your bench is your goal, there’s nothing magic about powerlifting style programming for building muscle, in fact it is more biased towards neurological strength adaptation, which will always come quicker than actual lean mass. Again, not hating if increasing your comp bench is your goal, but in the context of weight gain that is irrelevant.>>77180408Eat more. Count calories though, I used to think I was a classic “hardgainer” type, (and to be fair I am very high NEAT) I would eat till I was sick and see no results and it is because despite however much you think you’re eating you’re not actually in a sustained surplus. Count your calories, focus on whole foods. If you really can’t gain weight the cheat code is peanut butter, fats are 9 calories per gram, so if you bomb a huge scoop of peanut butter into your protein shake (~100g) its pretty easy to get 1,000+ calorie shakes with just milk, whey, and peanut butter. Cheap too.
>>7718040810 pounds in few months seems like the right pace if you wanted to gain lean massThe easiest is to drink your calories. Mix milk, peanut butter, protein powder, oats, olive oil, banana and you got yourself an easy 1200 kcal meal to drink
>>77180408How many calories do you eat per day?Try eating little snacks between big meals, it adds up over the course of the entire day.
>>77180408Whole milk with Hershey's syrup.... 6 raw eggs in a blender with 2 nanas, 2 cups whole milk one cup water buncha vanilla ice creamYou just gotta want it bro. Count your calories.
quality of the food likely not the problem, but quantityeats once, feels full the whole day, forgets to eat more, unaware this is at or even below maintenancein order to meet desired calories of the day, must space out meals, eat by schedule rather than feel
>>77180408why are you trying to get fat?Or did you make some slight newb gains at the gym and now you're "bulking"
>>77180408I have no idea. Fatties are like a different species. I eat so much shit and it's still never enough.
>>77181548yes.
>>77181341>6 raw eggsThe salmonella risk isn't worth it
Check how to make pilaf rice and kufte. It's basically crunchy rice and spiced meatballs made with minced meat. It's cheap af, amazing taste, healthy and you can binge on them easily. Have it a tomato salad with some good olive oil and some fennel and you had a god tier meal. I learned it from some iranian guys I had as neighbours and it's honestly the best bulk food
>>77181724the risk is 1 in 100,000. I've eaten raw eggs every day for over a year.
>>77181799I've eaten around 8 per day for around 3 years and I think I hit the jackpot a couple of months ago, it was fucking horrible
>>77181717ok so you've decided to get fat.Good luck I guess.
>>77180408finish puberty
>>77180408Have you considered eating more?
>>77180408I wish I could gain some weight, but I'm struggling to reach 1500kcal a day due to sibo and gastroparesis. It's so fucking over for me, but I don't want to stop lifting and running.
>>77184939if you're eating 1500kcal a day you should not be lifting or runningmaybe minimal lifting to try and maintain but nothing heavy
>>77185018Why? calories are a cope
Once you've hit protein and micronutrient macro requirements, what you need after that is calories via ultra-palatable processed foods (or really anything you find delicious and eat a lot of). You still need to eat real food and anyone who tells you to eat an ice cream diet is a fat person describing their fantasy, don't listen to them. Eat lots of rice instead
>>77180408Fix your posture, then eat, sleep, exercise.
>>77180408You're not eating enough.I used to say the same thing but now I'm 30 it's actually hard not to put on weight.Try eating fast food and having 3 meals a day, I promise you you'll put on fat.
I grew up eating healthy, my family basically never ate out, especially not greasy fried shit etc, I thought I was just naturally skinny. Then I moved out and started buying fast food and chinese a lot, and I fucking ballooned like a whale. Now I'm cooking at home more and eating healthy again, but I do add a shake in the morning when I have the least appetite to get my calories in. It really is easier to drink your calories.
>>77185018I know, I'm struggling to maintain my already low weight, but it helps with my mental health so much.
>>77180408>how tf do you gain weight
>>77186334
>>77180408I just eat lots of junk food when I'm bored. Works every time. Also eat stuff like cheese and peanut butter. That shit is filled with calories.
>>77180408Eat, nigroe.
