are calories over rated?I always tried to get a certain amount of calories into me and worry about going too low, but it hasn’t helped me lose weight cuz i kept binge eating so now im not doing 2200 calories anymore im doing 1600-1700… still only lost 1kg in a week, im fucking 112kg with type 2 diabetes…im trying to eat low calorie foods when i an hungry after eating all my calories like tomatos, broccoli, cucumber, snowpeas but it tastes so fucking shit i just want kfc and ice cream, fish and chips and krbab ffs
If you have diabetes and can't physically or mentally stop yourself eating, "eating too little" isn't really a concern. You've got more than enough fat in reserves, you're not going to starve to death now are you? See a doctor for binge eating disorder if you genuinely can't control yourself. If you can stick to it for just a month, fried shit will make you feel sick because of the grease.

>>77182518>im not doing 2200 calories anymore im doing 1600-1700I've never seen slow and steady caloric deficits work for proper fatsos. We usually just find ways to cheat anyways. The only way to loose weight as a fatty is to just go nuts and massively cut cals down (800, 600 a day) or just accept defeat, fatmaxx and die at like 30. >im fucking 112kg with type 2 diabetesall the more reason to just go nuts, you have enough fat to last months on a <600 calories per day diet, I'd only eat 1700 if I was doing some significant cardio plus the diet. Don't listen to mfs that work with either slightly overweight people or landwhales, with 112 kg you're at the middle of those two, obese but not a full whale yet, so you can go hard and burn those fat reserves while on heavy deficit. If you care to read some blogposting, here's what I did and worked for me.>100kg fat slob, zero muscle>800 cal a day diet for about three months. First month and a half was the hardest thing I'd ever done>Didn't care too much about protein desu. I was maybe hitting 60gs a day? Prob less>Bumped it up to 1200 cal a day by month 4 when I started doing a shitload of cardio. Basically ditched my car and walked - jogged everywhere.>By the end of year I was pretty close to my weight goal of ~70 kg>Bumped the cals again to 1600. Got less nuts about cardio>A year and a half after starting I was pretty lean, still zero upper body muscle but lean and with nice legs due to all of the jogging. Close to 60kg.>Then I bumped up the cals again to something more normal, about 2200 per day and started lifting. I also started caring more about protein and trying to hit some 90 grams a day of meat and animal based protein. Mostly eggs and beef (I hate chicken and protein shakes, yuck).>Two years later and still pretty lean but my arms are getting thicker slowly. I'm about 68 Kg nowadays. Besides the flying squirrel skin around my waist, I'm feeling pretty good ngl.
