Let's discuss curious foods with interesting qualities regarding performance-enhancing and health.

Pemmican. Concentrated dry meat with fat and sometimes additional ingredients such as berries and nuts, used by explorers for it's exceptional nutrient density and storage capacity. Ideal for bulking, since macros of it are far better than for any other kind of meat product.

Cacao jelly with trehalose, coffee and taurine.

That's surprising actually. How do you incorporate into your diet?
>>
>>77186550
You can simply add it to preworkout coffee.

I'm sorry you can't have a coherent and neutral conversation without getting irrationally upset and then can't justify why you're doing so. Hope things get better. I won't reply further. Have a good day.

Molasses are an industrial waste product resulting from the production of refined sugar.
Most of these micronutrients are not bioavailable and all the "benefits" are just propaganda to sell it because the industry doesn't know what to do with it.
Same thing applies to most supplements sold, it's usually some overhyped worthless recycled food waste product.
Molasses are the sticky burnt-out goop at the bottom of the cauldron from when boiling sugarcane juice (or whatever other plant juice they're extracting it from).

Brown sugar, which is also touted as "healthier" is just regular white sugar with a 5% of molasses added back to it.

It's basically a scam to get rid of a waste product. Same as whey protein that damages your digestive system, and they used as pig swill in the past.

>70g of pure carbohydrates to hit the easiest micronutrients you can almost never be defficient in
>>
>>77186641
Because they're phytochemicals. Your body doesn't deal well with them like animal products. For example people love touting about lentils and iron but it doesn't even have the absorbable usable form of iron heme iron, literally just traces of actual soil iron. If lentils had iron countries like india would have close to 0% anemia infant incidence yet they're top 3 most overall anemic countries.

Hyper-processed foods, which have been exposed to high heat, have most of their micronutrients either destroyed or completely unavailable.
On top of that, most plant micronutrients are already worthless to begin with, they exist in forms that the human body can neither use nor assimilate.
>>77186655
Very well put. There's also other examples like the lie that plants contain "vitamin A".
They contain useless beta-carotene instead of retinol, the actually useful form of the vitamin.

>Just eat nearly 300 calories of pure sugar to get your daily manganese
Meanwhile, you could get over 100% of daily manganese from 1.5 cups of cooked spinach for like 60 calories.
>>
>>77186479
>Ideal for bulking
Except for the part where it's hard as shit (or extremely time consuming) to actually eat and digests slowly.
There is absolutely no reason to eat this if you are not going to be stuck in the wilderness for extended periods of time. You could literally just eat its constituent components fresh and you would have an easier time digesting and absorbing the nutrients while saving massive amounts of prep time (both not having to make pemmican and not having to prep the pemmican for eating).
Only a retarded autist thinks pemmican is at all a good idea.
