Obese poorfag here. Is $40 too much for a monthly membership? For reference I only make $27 an hour

we don't know your life, retard. you're a grown white man, surely you can figure this out yourself
>>

idk i would personally never get a gym membership it costs like 200 bucks for a standard barbell w/ weight, and bench and a pull up bar, with a gym you introduce ways you can tell yourself i dont feel like going, you are already a fat retard why would you drive 15 minutes to go the gym to shart out 3 reps every half hour, you will become stressed and you will feel like failure and then yolu will binge eat like you always do

Thats a good price. Most gyms will try and fuck you though make sure you don't sign a contract. Most states have "health club laws" and warnings about gyms because the practices are so scummy. Also the payment companies they use. The entire fitness industry attracts shady ass people.

My biggest concern after reading the paperwork was that they can essentially raise the price at anytime and you have to go through hoops to cancel your membership. The owner of the gym is a women's former IFPB pro
>>
depends on how often you'll go. I'd argue if you go 4 times a week, then it's a good investments

you lose weight based on what you (don't) eat
i went to 9% bodyfat and no gym was involved
when it comes to losing weight, gyms are consoomer cope
you can use them for weights if youre into that though
>>

i mean you can use them for cardio too if you prefer it there to outside for reasons
but like if the only goal is weightloss, eh

It’s a good price, but if you’re obese it won’t magically make you lose weight. I’d build some habits with regards to exercise first, like going for a walk or run a few times a week, and buying an adjustable dumbbell set and doing some basic exercises at home 3x a week first. Build up towards that volume over a few weeks or however long it takes. Start by 1 or 2x a week if that’s what you can manage. Keep doing this until you max out the dumbbells. Then it makes sense to join a gym.
If you have no space to exercise at home, just do the running thing until you get to a reasonable fitness level. Then join the gym

Just ruck march with a weighted vest. Easy and cheap

I just gave 240 euros for 6 months for a gym near my house and my ex gf will be in there for a month
