Have any anons dealt with a Vitamin D deficiency? What was your experience in fixing it and changes you noticed?

I got bloodwork back and turns out I have a pretty substantial Vitamin D deficiency. Symptoms have been fatigue, low mood, muscle weakness, for a while now. My testosterone was also in the low end of normal adult level.
>>
Vitamin D is the only supplement I can't live without. Fixed my depression and gave me more energy. Takes a couple of weeks to build up but you notice small changes sooner. Doesn't fix everything but I notice a huge change when I stop taking it.
>>
Same. I had bloodwork done and had a vitamin D deficiency. Not surprising being a sys admin who worked long hours, late nights and rarely saw daylight.

Doctor told me to take 7000IU once a week. Six months later bloodwork was normal. I still take it. I also quit my job, got back into lifting and started taking magnesium, eating better and deliberately de-stressing. Results are I'm feeling much better in every possible way, but can't say how much of that was just the vitamin D.

Take vitamin D. There's literally no downside and it's cheap.

I've been doing shift work with many stretches of overnights for the last 3 years. I suspect this is what did it for me. Though I was probably always kinda low due to being a sedentary gamer chud.
>>
Look up d3 cofactors. If you arw deficient in k2 or magnesium, supplementing just d3 will make things even worse. You need it will a bunch of other things to eliminate any negatives and to maximise the positives.

You're a fucking idiot. The issues you're talking about are related to CALCIUM supplimentation, which should be taken with K2 and D3.

Anyone shilling you Vitamin D without K2&Magnesium is a shill that is actively trying to cause toxicity for you to the point of long term injury.

Never forget that.
Most people are borderline magnesium deficient and that is all people, not just random third worlders.

>taking calcium with k2 and d3
so you can have even more hypercalcemia?
fucking please newfag.
white people get way too much calcium, it's abundant in all foods we eat. basically no way I can get less than 150% of my daily needs even in moderate scenarios.

The vit D supplements worked for me and they greatly improved my libido.

Yeah, I actually had a Vitamin D deficiency a few years ago. My dr. had me take Vit. D supplements for a while and I went outside and got more sun.
>>
i don't trust this shit
>>
i think that supplements are good if you have identified a deficiency but you should really just change your diet and lifestyle to address any deficiencies long term. instead of taking pills, how about-

>drink whole milk
>eat kale and spinach
>go outside

problem solved
>>

Yeah, I started sunbathing and it resolved. I didn't realize how shitty it was making me feel until afterwards.

PNW bro here
5,000mg + K2 every day cuz it's overcast here a lot and my work has no windows.
I was borderline deficient.

After 3-4 weeks I started healing faster.
Easier to build muscle
Less fatigue
Better 1 mile times.
The healing was what I wanted to cure.
Having cuts heal so slowly over 6-7 days was ridiculous.

logical fallacy it requires more food to reach micro ratio than it did a hundred years ago.
>>
>>77192724
Drink milk go to the sun how fucking hard is that compared to consuming rat poison pills
>>
>>77195792
>>eat kale and spinach
Yeah do that, eat the non-bioavailable form contained within a plant with antinutrients and no fat (vitamin comes from cholesterol, it's not even a vitamin lmao) and that cooking eliminates a good deal of the "vitamin"
Do just that goy
>>
NIGGA GO FUCKING OUTSIDE YOU TWAT, WHAT THE HELL IS SO HARD ABOUT THAT
>>
>>77197577
>saar saar no you cannot take good supplements you must take aswhaspottemgar from india saar and go outside
"no"
>>
Just eat a can of sardines / oysters on the weekend, boom.
>>77197529
No bro you can convert the D2 in a 1-10 ratio bro just eat green leafs or something instead of a single can of sardines
Yeah I heckin LOVE this healthy plant food I just have to cook it and put butter on it and then eat multiple cups of it and I can't forage it outside because none of the green plants out there are edible, I mean this one specifically from the store
>>
>>77192724
Also take K2
A little sun wouldn’t hurt, either
