Today I did my weekly full-body training session. What about you?
>>77192943>Lost a rep on bench out of nowhere.Think I'm going to give myself some more time off until my hrv is at least back to 80% of what it peaks at.
I also do HIT and trained my back yesterday, today is an intense rest day.
>>77192943Why is mentzers philosophy so prevalent amongst naturals when his entire thesis relies on steroids making you a hyper responder to very short, intense exercises, whilst you wouldnt get anywhere near the same growth from hit if you were a natural normie. Idgit
>>77192988question your fundamentals first; yes, steroids help with muscle protein synthesis but the main benefit is actually the other angle: less muscle protein breakdown (thus in total higher muscle protein synthesis) + higher/faster recoverynaturals when they cross intermediate will face recovery issues sooner or laterHIT is just a split with focus on recovery with the trifecta being: high intensity, low volume, low frequency, it does not rely on steroid usagein essence: maximum steroid usage efficacy is when the training regime has high demand on recovery (PPL 6x/week; full-body 4x/week + GPP etc.) and not HIT
>>77192988It’s quite the opposite imo. Steroids give you better recovery so you can train hard more often. In their absence you need longer rest periods.
>>77192988The mechanism for hypertrophy are the same in roiders and natties what changes is the returns. There no dose dependant relationship at least not in a way that holds up to any academic scrutiny. If your genetics don't facilitate gains on HIT they won't on any other routine either. The inverse is true as well if you're gaining on any other routine you could do HIT instead. Might be a hair slower if you go as low frequency as mentzer but anything between every 3rd and every 5th day is about the same in modern comparisons.
>>77193003>it’s quite the opposite imoYour opinion is wrong.>>77193002>HIT is a …Way to get people to spend as little time as possible in Arthur Jones’ gyms after they buy a gym membership. Nowadays it’s a gimmick that contrarians like.
>>77193002>>77193003>>77193006thanks 4 for the nawlej anons
>>77192943When I get my dream body I will just gym once a week from then on to maintain it. I don't care about bodybuilding
>>77193011>doesn’t explain howOk retard
>>77193011are you saying that steroids make you recover slower?
>>77193107What he is saying is that he is low iq and can't imagine that a program he has never run, or that he has tried and didn't work for him must also not work for others. He then tries to convince people that get results with this to stop doing it, even though at least they are trying to be healthy. It's all the result of the modern education system, stupid people think they should have a voice or an "opinion". Combine that with parental neglect and you get a narcissist that hates life and only wants his own views imposed.Or he is a troll, or a bot.
