Who's cutting? Share progress, what you're eating, what form of cardio you're doing, whatever you want.

I've been lifting for about 9 months now and started cutting 6 weeks ago. 188cm and I did the retard dreamer up till 112kg. Down to 106 now. I'm eating 2200 calories per day, lifting 4 times per week and getting about 8-10k steps in per day on average.

So far all my lifts are still going up, some slower than others, but for those I can still add a rep every week or so via double dynamic progression. I'm kind of hoping that still having noob gains and being a fatass will let me recomp even on a 800-900 calorie deficit but I'm expecting that I'm going to stagnate and lose strength at some point.

Goal weight is 90kg so I still have a long way to go. Hoping to hit it by the end of summer at least.

How about yourself?

Good work bud, cutting can really suck to get into. You'll still gain for a while I bet, but it will stagnate eventually.

I'm on a cut right now too, skinnyfat on his way to a bit more Skelly, but at least lean. 6ft, was at 182lb, now down to 174. I'm going to go until about 160 I think, then reintroduce some more food for a nice clean, small surplus bulk. I'm in no rush, I've been on a cut before. I like lifting, I like running, I play waterpolo, not gonna be giant but want to look like a strong, moderately buff swimmer.

I lift 4-5 times a week, run 1-2 times, play waterpolo 1 time right now but that will increase to two soon. I know running kills gains but I like it and it's good for the added calories. About 15k steps a day minimum, I walk to and from work plus other stuff at work.

As far as diet goes I pretty much cut out carbs except for about 200 cal of rice cakes here and there to tide me over between meals. I eat carrots, tomatoes, an apple, and 2 tins of sardines for my 8 hour work-day, have a small bowl of bran flakes and onions milk for a snack, hit the gym or run, the usually baked tofu and a green, either beans, asparagus, or broccoli. Then some rice cakes between then and bed.
I usually drink a lot of either watered-down Gatorade Zero powder or herbal tea. I have nice black tea to start the day.

Hopefully I'll be nice and lean for my trip in late June to the sunny places :)

Honestly sounds like you have a massive TDEE and are borderline starving yourself. My TDEE is 3100-3200 and yours is probably higher than mine despite the weight/height difference sine you do triple the cardio I do. But on the other hand you're aiming to lose a bit over 1lbs a week. It's all very confusing ngl lol

Yeah, that's more than fair. Really the key is just letting myself feel hungry until my next meal. It gets easier over time too, plus I eat a lot of carrots, add some celery and cucumbers as well to fill the void. Just getting into konjac / shirataki noodles for some volume with like zero calories. But yeah, defs in a calorie deficit and it's not very fun, but the results make me feel better. Already fitting into a shirt I haven't worn in a bit.
If you're finding it onerous or your hungry a lot you should drink more of anything zero-low cal, it really staves off the hunger or a meal for at like, least an hour or two.

i'm eating about 1500 a day. mostly chicken, eggs, pork belly, bratwurst. first time cutting, is this too little? I'm dinking plenty of water.
>>
Just finished my cut. Did PSMF for 65 days, first month averaged 900 cals/day, 2nd month bumped it up to ~1100/day. Went from 186lb to 163lb. No GLP, just a bunch of walking and self miring to get through it. Feels good man. Probably going to do another month in July to get from current ~12% bf to <10%.

Sounds good bud, I would worry about undercounting calories with the pork belly and bratwurst, but I believe ya. How has the weight loss gone?
>>
>>77194871
Are you tracking how many cals you're eating? It sounds like something like 1500 cals max from your description. I think you could eat significantly more tbqh.
>>77194878
Pork belly and bratwurst have a fuckton of fat so the volume vs calorie ratio is kinda ass. Are you eating vegetables and fruits? Carbs and micro nutrients are important. For the calories, it's hard to know without knowing your weight and height but realistically for someone that's moderately active and lifts weight it does seem low.

I'm not tracking calories at all, just looking at my weight each morning and eating less if it's charting up over a week. I could probably eat more, but I'm not really needing it to get through my day and my lifts. I might find a way to add more protein, but I'm getting 130g plus and my lifts are still going up a bit.
>>

I'm eating steamed veggies with grilled or oven baked chicken breast with nothing extra but seasoning, herbs and spices for flavour. I suppliment with some vitamins, omega-3 capsules, potassium and magnesium. Sodium I get from the well seasoned chicken. Also two scoops of my favourite protein powder. Gives me around 200g of protein and 1000 calories a day. Started the last week in February when my weight was 200 lbs/ 90kg, which went down rapidly the first two weeks to 180lbs/82 kg. Since then I've lost a further 5kg down to 77kg. My goal is to get down or close to 15% bf by the end of June.

Lol yeah for sure! I always try to volumemax. For example, I got this at a veggie store on my lunch yesterday, a head of organic celery. Now, I'm eating it raw at work. A kilo of celery is max 160 cal and it's a pound at most here. So I munch away and I'm full until lunch, plus I'll shit like a god later.

I've found it surprisingly easy, my energy levels have been mostly normal, and my training has been consistent doing a basic full body 2x a week. No cardio. I haven't progressed much in terms of lifting, but haven't regressed either which is the main thing. It's pretty amazing how normal I feel on just 1000 cal a day. Some brain fog and there are days when I feel a little low energy, generally it's been fine. A couple of times I've cheated because of family occasions, but on those days I just fasted until the evening and ate a normal meal and a desert, which was probably 1500cal total at the most. The only 'cheat' was that I didn't get anywhere near my protein target for the day. This past week is the first time I've felt really hungry in the mornings, and I expect it to get worse the lower my bf%.

I fucking hate cutting so much. I have been doing OMAD all week and then letting myself eat what I want on the weekends. Lost like 10 pounds doing this but its down to zero weight loss now. I fucking hate this so god damn much. I am on the maximum dose of ozempic and still startving all the time. Fuck you

Got a walking pad so I do an hour on that while I work and go for 3 ~1mile walks. Calories at ~2100. Calipers show 0.5" a couple inches from my belly button which is allegedly 12% but I think I'm fatter. Feels like "this cut is the cut bro" I'll finally get super lean.

I've been thinking about getting one of those. Did you get a cheaper one? The problem I keep running into is that they're all very borderline as far as my height/stride length goes
>>
>>77195038
Not that anon but I got one of the cheap ones for about $250 and it's been a workhorse for 2 years now. I often do months at a time at 5-7 miles per day.

OMAD, wake up at 04:00, typicall do not eat until 5:00 - 8:00.
High lean protein, veggies, low carb. Gave up beef and beer for lent. Significant difference. No milk, but splurge on cheese.

Love me some hardcore cutters, good job dude.

Currently also on a RFL/PSMF on whatever little calories I can get with veggies, lean meats, and protein/eggs/greek iogurt brownie recipies, prob also 900-1100kcal/day. Need to get my facecard as good as possible for this sunday when I'll meet my ex at an event. Petty but pretty good motivation for crash dienting. Good for the abs and veins tho, only a plus in my case.

Any advice for dealing with being surrounded by junk food? I'm a neet tring to lose weight and rhey buy snacks and junck despite my wishes and it can be hard to resist when its right there
>>
>>77195491
You either have the discipline not to eat it or you don't, there's nothing anyone can tell you that will impact that binary choice unfortunately.
>>
>>77194793

Hello cutbros. Im on week 7 of an 8 week cut. Started at 220lbs and just weighed in at 199. Before this I did an 8 week bulk from 205 to 220. My goal weight is the 195-197 range so Im really locking in these last 11 days to reach it. I’m 6’1 for anyone that cares. I mostly eat eggs, oats, milk, greek yogurt, fruits and veggies, and protein pancakes. Sometimes I get some cheap cheeseburgers or chicken sandwiches from somewhere to break the monotony, I just adjust diet accordingly to stay within macros. I did the chicken rice and veggies pill almost a decade ago and wanted to kms.
>>
>>77195551
Kinda similar to me (OP). Tomorrow is weigh in day for me, hoping I'm down to 231 for the week. I've got another 12-16 weeks to go at least though shit fucking blows.
>>
>>77195556
Im excited to just eat at maintenance again. I’ve noticed myself being alot more irritable the last few weeks even with great sleep. But if this was easy there wouldnt be an obesity epidemic.
>>
>>77195509
Lost 20 pounds in 6 months this way, yeah it's a slow cut but I'm not obsessing as much over portions

You retards cannot just keep a running mental tally rounding to the nearest 50 kcals and grams of P?
If it works for you, great.
