Acesulfame K
Aspartame

They do affect your body (subtly)

I've been considering purchasing unflavoured protein powder from now on, but a large part of the market sells flavoured powders.

What’s the general opinion on sweeteners on /fit/?

I’m not fully convinced about their long-term safety—we still don’t have enough time or studies to form a completely clear picture. I’d like to understand them better, especially whether they affect insulin like glucose does. Maybe not to the same extent, but who knows. I’ve noticed that I sometimes feel hungrier after consuming products with acesulfame K or sucralose.

artificial sweeteners also seem to fuck with your gut and gut bacteria, which is a HUGE issue for me. It's not just having the shits, it's also feeling bloated and even if neither of those happen my body just feels wrong if I consume sweeteners. This is not how a healthy body feels like. Stuff laced with ace-K is usually also acidic as hell, which in itself can be shitty for your gut.
In such large concentrations and amounts as they are used as additives they are literally NOT FOOD, I don't like the idea of daily consumption of NOT FOOD for no reason other than craving sweetness. Also the "sweetness" they add is a weird, bitter, chemical "kinda-sweet", not really a good kind of tasty sweet.
I switched to unflavoured protein powder years ago. It genuinely tastes better than the flavoured shit and since the taste is mild I don't start hating it as fast as I start hating the artificial flavours.

I only ate ON chocolate whey for years because it was purely whey and cocoa powder but after switching to vanilla whey with sucralose and drinking more energy drinks with sucralose for another several years I have had no negative health effects and in fact have gotten stronger, bigger, and leaner. Id say if you limit your intake to as little as possible, you're fine. You shouldn't have to cut it out 100% if you don't want. One thing to keep in mind is artificial sweeteners are 100x sweeter than table sugar, so their addition to the concoction is marginal in sum.

Today I ate 1 protein bar, 1 pack of yogurt covered cranberries, a large McDonald's fry, 2 double cheeseburgers, and a large Dr pepper.

All in all about 2300 calories.
