I do 100 kettlebell swings a day with my 12kg one. I'm also introducing clean & press.
IMO it's better to keep it simple. A small daily commitment that takes 15-20 minutes max.
But that depends on what are your goals.

i just want to progressively build strength and muscle. been lifting at the gym for almost 2 years but its getting so overcrowded i hate going there. so ive been slowly building a home gym. are 100 kettlebell swings and clean&presses gonna actually give me real gains?

Not really. At least not on the same level as having access to a gym with equipment to do compound lifts with progressive overload.
Kettlebells shine the most as a tool for general conditioning and for having time-efficient full body workouts.

Is we be getting a kettlebell
