Fellow genetic errors of /fit/, drop your hair stack.
Is topical finasteride still a meme? How often do you dermapen? Does dutasteride work better? Any useful supplements?
>>
>tranny/dick won't work/just shave and gym cope bro/just don't think about it
See you at NW3 when you're desperate but it's too late for anything except Turkish Hairlines.

everyone i ask says i look better with it shaved than i did before i even started balding and had long hair
maybe i just have a good head shape?
>>
We're like 1 year max away from a cure for balding.
>>
>>77197947
when you get to your 30s (and living in Europe), balding is basically a non issue
especially if you have good facial hair

4chan is majority <25yo
so for them it's a far bigger issue

>maybe i just have a good head shape?
might be
but also because being half bald usually just looks like shit

>We're like 1 year max away from a cure for balding.
sure anon
>>
>>77197966
lol, is vanity all you have in this life?
>>
Balding is a solved issue.
>5% minoxidil twice a day, cut to once per day for maintenance
>1mg finasteride daily
That's it, and you'll keep your hair forever. DHT plays no role in your body except keeping your actual test down.

>drop your hair stack.
that's why they're all bald to begin with
>>
balding threads are the gayest and cattiest threads on /fit/, which says a lot
>>
>>77197996
There's a lot of sour grapes from those who refuse to use the proven, working solutions.

Oral fin
Topical min
topical tret, improves production of the enzyme needed for the synthesis of the active min compound in the scalp, min itself is a prodrug, plus it's essential for skincare in general, but that's a whole different story
>Is topical finasteride still a meme?
It kinda is. Oral min isn't a meme though, if your scalp is deficent in the enzyme i mentioned, your liver has plenty of it and that's where oral min is metabolized, so it's worth trying if topical min does nothing. Watch the sides though, especially blood pressure.
>How often do you dermapen?
I used to do it daily with 0.25 mm and weekly with 0.75, no real results in a year so i dropped it. I'm convinced the only real benefit is potentially better absorption of min.
>Does dutasteride work better?
You try dut if fin isn't working or is giving you severe sides.
>Any useful supplements?
It's all supplemental to fin and min, no miracles. Make sure your diet isn't deficent in micros, especially D3, copper and zinc, but keep track all micros.

Not true and cucked.

Simply crush up your finasteride pills, mix into the minoxidil, and apply only .1mg finasteride to the scalp daily.

Studies show this will drop your blood DHT levels less than 30%, some other studies show zero change. Which is going to cause side effects in nobody.

There is literally no reason to take it orally

Explain how a topical fin, which, as per countless studies, even in micro dozes, decreases scalp dht more than megadosing oral fin, ir a meme?
>>
Fin feminizes you, I experienced it and people around me noticed

I’m looking into hair transplant, my brother and dad are stable at Norwood 3 but im aware it’s still risky
>>
>>77197942
Almost all the fin/min examples of hair regrowth was just the minoxidil doing the heavy lifting. I'm my own case it was just minoxidil as well, fin just gives me episodes of near suicidal ideation

I'm tired of acting like it was fin that did anything for regrowth, min is bruteforcing it, hard.

>Simply crush up your finasteride pills, mix into the minoxidil, and apply only .1mg finasteride to the scalp daily.
Does not work. You NEED tretinoin or retinol in the mix otherwise topical finasteride won't be absorbed in the skin at all, it isn't optional. And getting access to strong, pure retinoids in solution (not cream or gel) to mix with fin+min is not easy and requires a license, pharmacists will charge you a ton to do it for you.
>t. make my own topical fin
>>
>>77197942
oral fin (1mg)
oral min (2.5mg)

it gave me a bit of gyno but i cut 10lbs and it went away. norwood 2 -> 1.5 in a year and i look better than ever. it did drop my T levels though and i lost 15lbs on my bench press. worth it for chasing aesthetics, not worth if chasing numbers.
>>
>>77198183
min is what stimulates hair growth, fin stops your body from destroying it with DHT, fin freezes the state of your head and min reverses it, to whatever extent possible. That's why you need both.
>I’m looking into hair transplant
You are still strongly advised to take fin even after hair transplant to avoid your original hair thinning, so you aren't escaping it. Also the more you manage to keep by the time you want a transplant the fewer follicles you'll need to have transferred.
>>
>>77198191
lol this is bullshit. Topical finasteride absorbs just fine. The tretinoin actually is for better absorption/metabolism of the minoxidil
>>
>>77198180
just take the wig pill bro
>>
>>77197966
We've been a few years away from a cure to balding for longer than fusion energy.
>>77198119
>Oral min isn't a meme though
It isn't, it is way stronger orally, but it's a heart medication and can have nasty side effects
