Having a debate with the girlfriend and I think she might actually be dumb. She's actually book smart with a few degrees but daaamn she has no logical thinking at all. I have no problem with peoples weight, it's none of my business, do what you want. Had an argument earlier when we were watching a show and this overweight chick was taking about how hard it is to lose weight. No problem there, that's a fact that it's harder for some people. I suggested she eat less after we heard her diet. Seems logical to me. My gf replied with "It's not that simple because she gains more weight when eating than a regular person does". What? Ok so she defies the laws of physics apparently. I asked "If she eats 4 grapes will she gain more weight than the grapes weigh?" GF replies "yes". After trying to explain how this isn't true she hits me with a generic ai answer after she googled "Is it hard to lose weight for some people?" Tried to make her understand that's not the point I'm making and I know that statement is true. "You can't create mass out of nothing" I said. She's still arguing about how hard it is to lose weight for this random tv woman. I think I might actually have reached a dead end with her thought process. There is not an ounce of logic or listening skills in this woman. Now I'm debating to myself if I want this type of headache forever or I want to leave and just have a nice relaxing life with logical conversation or maybe I should to a lobotomy on myself and live in ignorant bliss.
