My dad got this shit but had laser surgery which was super-duper effective and he didn't need any treatment for it after that. Apparently a lot of different vitamin and mineral supplements can slow it down.

Sorry to hear that Anon. It sometimes crops up on the female side of my mother's family, and in their case it is (usually) able to be treated by simple eye drops that lower the pressure in the eyes.

I have it too. Its not so bad. Just take your drops, dont be fat or drink a lot of booze. Also working out, especially cardio helps with the pressure. My pressures have been stable for years on the same drops. You'll fine if you do what you're supposed to

I have it in my right eye. Progressed past the point where drops work, had to get tube shunt surgery. Already have optic nerve damage on that side, and I'm only 30.

Such is life. Do the best you can. Also, if they try to give you Diamox, request Naptazane instead. Diamox has some brutal side effects.
