I see quite a few posts with people asking whether they should cut/bulk but a lot of them get responses like muh you need to lift for 6 more gorillion years and build muscle. When enough is enough? Just wait till 40 for your cut? I know that everyone's genetics are different but still. Pic related looks like he would fine after a cut but people kept telling him to lean bulk or whatever the fuck.
>>77203621Guy in the pic could cut very comfortably. He probably has some noob gains left in the tank so if he trains and eats properly during he would likely at the very least retain all his muscle or even gain a bit. As for the general question of your post: you cut whenever you want. You aren't a child, you don't approval from the 4chan/instagram cabal to do anything. Grow up.
>>77203621>When can you truly cutNEVER!
>>77203621Unless you're a literal twig but I'd argue even t hen, you really should cut until you're in that 15-18% bodyfat range minimum. I'd have to see another angle but dude in the pic could easily cut another 15 lbs. That lower back fat is stubborn and really is some of the last to go.
>>77203621I'm not a professional, but is it me, or is picrel's arms tiny? Is it just the angle?
>>77203662could it be because u r a manlet and the guy in the picture is quite tall
>>77203667>quite tall>t. picrelI'm not even hating, I'm genuinely asking if that's a normal torso to arm ratio. I don't really stare at men, or even myself, so I'm not sure if that's just what it's supposed to look like when you're not flexing, or if his arms are just not particularly large.
>>77203676He's 6'2 so average.
>>77203621>When can you truly cutALWAYS!
>>77203662He seems like a kinda chubby guy who does mostly compounds hence why his back is big but not really his arms
Just saw another thread and people there are telling to only cut after 5 years of "heavy" lifting. Clown world.
>he thinks there is such a thing as ''big enough''It's all about optics, anon.
>>77203621i cut when i pass the 15%bf threshold, otherwise i feel fucking disgusted by myself and start to sweat (at normal bf i don't sweat all unless it's really hot and humid).i know it's 15 when i lose my bottom abs and pec definition
>>77203662SS victim
>>77204154One can bulk up to about 20-22% body fat and then its time to cut down to 15 or so. For most new lifters this means 1 year of bulk and then cut.
>>77204475>1 year of eating whatever i want and working outholy fucking YEESSS SERIOUSLY??!?
>>77203621/fit/'s ideal is a fat powerlifter because they're afraid being victim weight and raped by bigger powerlifters. So they never cut. Stop listening to them.
>>77204475interesting logic considering the average novice lifter is probably around 20-22% to begin with
>>77205253>eating whatever you wantOnly if you want to feel like literal hell during your cut, only to realize you weren't as muscular as you thought once the cut is over. Much better to do it by being a little bit over maintenance during bulk, and a little bit below maintenance during cut.
>>77203621This is basically what I look like from the back but then I look like 15% from the front. Cruel.
>>77205627Spam rows and pullups
Just become a 350lb lardass but active, then cut to 12% body fat and be a god.
