Why did/do lifters on /fit/ act like low bar squatting is/was some noble pursuit?

Someone who wants to do a bro-split and get shredded is seen as a dumb curl-bro normie, while low bar fat sitting 405lbs is some end game noble philosophical triumph. Puzzling.

Im not even a strength fag, i probably fall more in line with bodybuilding bro split type people. But a 405lbs squat deserves respect regardless of your training philosophy. Thats an achievement that less than 1% of people will ever reach

Just depends on morphology. For some, Lowbar is just more comfortable. Im definitely a high / midbar squatter. 515x3.

4 plate is respectable for any lifter.

Autists always need something to feel superior about,
