I fail to understand how eating oats will help me lose weight. They're super high in calories.

>>77204924It probably has a high satiety index in certain forms. When I eat steel cut oats it feels like I ate a brick. Very much in the food is fuel not fun camp. Personally Im a grass fed Bulgarian yogurt with nuts, collagen powder, and berries sprinkled in kinda guy.

>pure carb>high satietyyeah i tried this meme food and about 30 minutes after eating quite a big bowl of them i was hungry again. turns out food that spikes blood sugar/triggers insulin responses to this degree makes you hungry againoats "keep you feeling full" is a load of bullshit. considering around 4 eggs has roughly the same amount of calories yet has no carbs and packed with fat and protein should tell you all you need to know about the poison that is oatsit also destroys my guts and makes me shit uncontrollably. avoid at all costs
