I can do 12 normal pull ups but only 4 with 10kg extra.
Imagine doing weighted pull ups. If you are too strong for body weight then go do some cable pull downs like a normal person. You guys are so weird
>>77210743Cba to pay for a gym membership.
I can do 23 in a row and +50kg for 2 reps. Git gud, nigger
There are no devices at my gym to do weighted dips or pullups
>>77210743I lift more than the stack.>>7721073710kg is a lot to add. It's okay to start with 5 or even 2.5 kg.
>>77210743>muh machines Weak faggot post body
>>77210743:(
>>77210737>immediately adding 10kgJust do slow progressive overload like a normal person jfc
>>77210737They are not lul, especially with 10kg. It's a DYEL exercise unless you're doing it with 50kg.>physique that's able to do 5x3 30kg pull ups btwhttps://litter.catbox.moe/fbj928vyol8404wk.png
pure volume is the way to go imho. I do a lot of sets with low reps and shorter rest periods. for whatever reason that worked better than the usual progressive overload 3x sets with 8-12 reps.
>>77210795i look like this and i can lock in +85kg
>>77210831Mogs me, chud. You have normal proportions and proper amount lean mass.
I use milk bottles filled with water, taped shut and tied together with an old dressing gown cord. Been on these particular milks for a while now so it's time to go up in weight, for which I will be getting a 6 pinter milk bottle and filling it partially with rocks then the rest with water. Over time I will adjust the ratio of rocks:water as required.
>>77210906Based. Keep it up bud.
>>77210737I have the opposite problem. I can do like 6-7 BW chin-ups but 4 with 12.5kg extra
>>77210996That exactly his problem, moron
Weak faggot. Wheigted pullups and dips are the best exercises for push and pull
>>77211003His problem is that he's stronger with BW chin-ups. My problem is that I'm stronger with weighted chin-ups
>>77211035neither of you are strong at pull ups or chin ups, especially you, since you don't know the difference. but you're a foreigner, it's not your fault
>>77211037>retard can't into comparatives
>>77210772>I lift more than the stack.Try doing it with the intended muscles instead
>>77210737I'm gonna guess you're around 60kg.
Looking at these replies, almost all of you have severe personality disorders.>Here is a picture of my dog Rex!>Wow nice dog you fucking FAGGOT mine kills ones like yours here's a picture of my cock FUCK YOUThat's basically what all of you are like. Fuck me.>>77210793Adding weight once you get to 10-12 is reasonable
>>77211240Shut up nigger.
Is that weight hanging from his dick? Is this what you pull up faggots do?
>>77210743Post physique
>>77211240>Adding weight once you get to 10-12 is reasonableYeah but start with with 5 or 10lbs or whatever that is in eurounits, not 10kg right off the bat.
>>77210743
>>77210743>you’re too strong to make gains from pull-ups >do something easier than pull-ups
I did 8 today with 12.5kg extra. I suggest you try training harder.
When I hit 16 unweighted I started adding weight and I could do 20kg for 7
>>77210737Nigga of course its hard you never train for strength, high reps can help gain strength but never nowhere near as much as low reps.Save 1-2 reps in the tank and do more sets with low weights.
>>77210772>I lift more than the stackHave you tried one arm?
>>77211515Yeah I do one arm as an accessory
>>77210737>I can do 12 normal bench presses but only 4 with 10kg extrait also forces vertical torso which will make it harder put the plate in a backpack and it's instantly easier because it will lean torso back
>>77211037>>77211038SA and indians ESLs are the death of 4chan
>>77210771what, no power rack?
>>77210737When I was good at them I just did short sets throughout the day, or supersetted with my barbell work. Should probably get back on that. I’ve always hated doing more than 3-5 pull ups a set, even when able to do more than 20
>>772107372sets of pull-ups 18kg extra weight2 sets of chin-ups 18kg extra weightI weigh 80kg myself. You are just weak/fat. Micro-progressed by adding 125g every now and then.
>>77210906Quartz powder is pretty cheap and might work well for you as well
>>77213154I do 3 sets of pull ups 16.25kg extra weight at 65kg (twink)Is it any good?
>>77211963>>I can do 12 normal bench presses but only 4 with 10kg extra>it also forces vertical torso which will make it harder>put the plate in a backpack and it's instantly easier because it will lean torso backand it's shilled here cause that forced vertical torso will fuck up your shoulders - if u just pull straight up with all your might scaps will clinch together instead of being kept out by serratus that's why form natzies frown upon legs bent in knee and crossed behind you - it angles body to the bar making it more anatomically friendly and therefore easier, not entirely but it's already way more friendly for shoulders and lower traps (in shoulders it's mechanical injury, in traps it's scapas grinding together and traps cramping out on nothing beyond their capacity to flex further in end of motion range) the most important part of pullup is the part from full shoulder extension to scapular depression (NOT RETRACTION), i do it on knees with one leg bracing forward cause i am pulling also back, i pull at 20-30 degrees angle from the ceiling unilaterally, with lumbar flexion with abs, i let my arm be taken out up to the fullest, depress scapula (not retract) and bend then bend arm no more than 30 degrees to avoid scapular retraction i pull also from across body - lower traps and lats ( when u reach around body and look at ribcage that fold of lat appeared) popped immediately from this kind of pull, it's also very innocuous to anything, i'd say therapeutic even, serratus is also engaged cause shoulders stay in protraction - all good things
