just getting back into rooning after a 1 month hiatus and went for a 5K a few days ago, everything was fine I felt fine and then the next day my foot started hurting and it's been a week and I can't walk properly because my foot is still hurting what the fuck happened?

Put a water bottle in the freezer, then roll it under your foot. Sounds like Plantar Fasciitis. It's from over-use. No problem, take it slow for a bit. Make sure you still get out and run or at least walk a bit

How can it be from over use if it was my first roon in a month?
>>
bump this is torture

You haven't used it like that for over a month. Lots of foot strikes and a pressure you aren't used to anymore

so how do i fix it
>>
>>77211794
Your body will fix itself as long as you don't fuck it up more

Time to heal and time to ease yourself back in.

I had a nasty ankle sprain last summer and used an AFO brace plus compression socks and a cane for a few weeks; worked excellently and healed up 100% with a bunch of supplements, swimming, and stretching.

OFC could possibly be something worse than plantar fasciitis, like a torn ligament or stress fracture, so going to a doctor for imaging would be smart if it isn't rapidly improving.
