I'm getting the urge again, and this time it's pretty loud.
I turn 27 tomorrow. 5 foot 9. 320 pounds. Still virgin, and my last kiss was so long ago I might as well be kissless.

I'm thinking of getting some basic equipment to start trying to get skinnier. I don't care much for getting stronger, but I'll probably set that as a goal when I reach my target weight.
Can anyone recommend a Stationary Bike, and an adjustable weight set for a decent price? Or if you've got a better idea for how to go about this? Of course, I'll be trying to fix my diet as well, but I already know how bad my motivation can get, so I'm going to try and just build a small routine to grow over time.

Do something low impact like walking, and calisthenics for weights for now. If you can join a gym and find an upper lower split you like.

But dude it's 2026, hop on the glp1 train. I was 310, got down to 285 by cutting out junk and moving more but then started tirzepatide and got down to 250 with ease. It's such a game changer, plus lots of my blood work markers improved. Look into grey market sources, you should be able to find $0.33/mg of tirzepatide if you look hard enough at different glp1 forums or telegram groups. Good luck, the best time to start is today!

I'd rather not turn to substances like that. That kind of thing just activates my Spider-Senses, and I know I'll feel less fulfilled if/when I actually achieve my goals For some reason I still have that kind of pride even though I'm nowhere near where I want to be.
Low impact was kind of my thought process with the bike. I've been meaning to start taking a little 20 minute walk around the neighborhood in the morning. I'll try to remember that for tomorrow.
Really, my thought here is that if I have the equipment in my living room in full view from my computer desk, that will be a constant reminder that will be hard to ignore. But remembering to go outside and get moving a bit is a lot less obvious.
