>>77215993Didn't she put a lot of weight back on and go crazy?
>>77215945You'll learn how hard ohp is to progress after leaving your beginner gains stage anon, keep at it.
thanks for the replies everyone I had forgotten that I created this thread yesterday.>>77215945yes, though I got stronger in other lifts I just didn't train OHP consistently during this period>>77215946thats not me. choose love>>77215993I never commited properly to progressive overload, I just surfed newbie gains until around 60kg for 5RM. I didn't program properly and just kept going with 5RM but couldn't seem to progress - also got injured and was out of the gym for some periods only doing bodyweight training (corona).I broke the plateau by intentionally increasing intensity and always going for 10RM every session with two working sets. I also did the same for bench press which I think was the main contributor to getting stronger in the OHP; I also did a shit ton of weighted dips with the same programming (current 10RM is +60kg added at 86kg bodyweight).I tried doing 60kg again and was pretty effortlessly able to hit 7 reps.>>77215995your are projecting your own insecurities, my life outside of the gym has been awesome ever since I moved away from home at 19.
>>77215814I'm 36 and lifting more than I ever have, I'm not even trying that hard nor taking roids.
>>7721581430 lbs? Really? Are you a skeleton?
