Can we make a list about what exercises have which effect on looks?

Well known examples:
>Bench gives "titties" while pullovers give an "arnorplate" look
>Pull ups and chin ups make the back broad while rows make it deep
>Pull ups hit mostly the inner bicep head while curls hit the biceps all over

Based on my own experience, I can add:
>Very high reps make you look drier/harder
>Leg raises make your waist more block
>DLs give you a big ass while other glute exercises don't add much mass
>Side raises create very good traps, much better than OHP

Thoughts?

you're retarded
but exercising with proper torso and ribcage positioning will give you good aesthetics and stop you from looking like a powersharter

Stopped reading at the bench and pullover comparison, kill yourself noob

Really not much of an achievement. I wouldn't be surprised that a site for uggos trying to look good is headed by one.

Looksmaxx site is full of virgin autists obsessing over random men online. Of course the owner would be ugly. It’s a hugbox for self loathing fags

I always say it's actually hard for a smart person (and to a lesser extent, a midwit) to write like a stupid person. That's why so many trolls fail. I can tell you're the real deal stupid, so congrats.

Wider pullups will have you looking like a Dorito vs narrow pull-ups. I know that's common sense but I met a dude who only did his pull-ups, pull-downs, etc super wide and dude had the weirdest front and back profile. He looked like he was wearing an inflatable wing suit.

That’s called functional strength nigga. What will you do if the plane goes down and you don’t have a parachute? Die. Meanwhile he’ll glide to safety.

I did wide for years, and upo reading about muscle activation recently during pullups of differing measures, I learnt that it makes nary a difference. Infact, wider pullups inhibit the elastic stretch and recoil of the exercise, and thus impair fibre activation.

This. Narrow/medium grip gives full extension and contraction.

Most faggots dont know this, but a lot of lat width has to do with genetics and the point of insertion. At that point, doesnt matter what you do - its all predetermined.

The idea that 'wide grip = wide lats' is such magical thinking. Your lat is one muscle. It either contracts or relaxes. That's all that muscles do.

You do lats for muscle activation. I do them for practical purposes. We are not the same.

Now to be serious for a minute, I agree with you. I do find wide grip pull ups leave me more sore and I feel better "muscle activation" but I think it's because I was used to doing normal/narrow for years. There might be something to hitting a slightly different part/movement and adding some size. It's like switching to a wider grip bench. You still hit pecs. 90% (or more) of the growth is from doing the exercise. You might get some slightly different response from altering your grip a bit, but it's not really going to matter in the big picture.
